President Trump just made voter fraud a very expensive hobby. On Monday, Trump announced that any American who reports voter fraud leading to an arrest and conviction will walk away with a cool $1 million.
“Anybody reporting Voter Fraud in the past Elections, or the upcoming 2026 Midterm Election, will be paid $1,000,000 upon the arrest and conviction of those that created the Fraud!” Trump posted to Truth Social. He then repeated the offer directly to reporters: “I’m also going to be issuing a million-dollar bonus or reward or whatever you want to call it for anybody that reports voter fraud, leading to the arrest and conviction of somebody.”
The announcement lands right ahead of the 2026 midterm elections, which is a perfectly reasonable time to remind people that cheating at democracy is, in fact, illegal. Who knew a cash incentive would be the thing to make Americans suddenly very interested in election integrity? Well, Trump knew.
This isn’t the first time the administration has put real money behind accountability. Earlier this month, Trump voter fraud reward program the White House unveiled the Whistleblower Incentive Program, a $25 million fund aimed at people who report government fraud. To qualify, a tip has to be part of a “successful conviction for fraud or a significant federal enforcement action.” So no, you can’t just call in a hunch and collect.
White House Spokeswoman Lauren Bis put it plainly when the earlier program launched. Every day, President Trump’s Task Force to Eliminate Fraud is zeroing in on the rampant abuse of taxpayer dollars and giving Americans the accountability they deserve,” she said. She also added, “This administration has zero tolerance for individuals who steal from Americans.” Strong words that apparently needed to be said out loud because the previous crowd was a little fuzzy on the concept.
The left has spent years insisting voter fraud is basically a myth, a fairy tale cooked up by people who just can’t accept election results. Now there’s a million-dollar bounty on it, and suddenly the conversation gets a lot more interesting. If fraud doesn’t exist, nobody collects. Simple enough, right? Democrats should have nothing to worry about.
Trump continues to push hard on election integrity heading into 2026, and between this reward program and the broader whistleblower fund, his administration is making it very clear that cheating the system, whether at the ballot box or in the federal budget, comes with consequences. The only question now is how many tips come flooding in. Stay tuned, because at a million dollars a pop, Americans are about to get very motivated.
