There’s A Real Good Chance GOP Senator Who Voted to Convict Trump LOSES On Saturday

When Senator Bill Cassidy voted to convict Donald Trump following the January 6 Capitol attack, he inadvertently gave his opponents a five-year grievance to use in their campaigns. He did not expect to find himself as a mere spectator in his own re-election battle.

It Just Got A Lot Harder for Democrats to Cheat In the Midterms

Louisiana Republicans are voting on Saturday in a Senate primary that looks vastly different from what Cassidy’s team had anticipated. Trump endorsed Rep. Julia Letlow in January and encouraged her to run. State Treasurer John Fleming, who announced his candidacy in December 2024, did not back down or clear the field. As a result, there is now a three-way race, where the incumbent, Cassidy, is polling in third place.

The two challengers have spent the final weeks of the campaign attacking each other rather than focusing on Cassidy. Yikes.

Democrats Facing DISASTER – They Can’t Recover From This

The most recent public survey of the race, conducted by Emerson College Polling and KLFY News 10, found that Fleming leads with 28 percent, followed closely by Letlow at 27 percent and Cassidy at 21 percent. Additionally, 22 percent of respondents remain undecided. This survey was carried out last month among likely Republican primary voters.

These results are consistent with the trends observed in previous months. A Quantus Insights survey conducted in February 2026 showed Fleming at 34 percent, Letlow at 25 percent, and Cassidy at 20 percent. Before Letlow entered the race, an earlier survey by JMC Analytics from October 2025 indicated that Fleming had 25 percent, while Cassidy had 23 percent.

Jen Psaki Just Stepped In A Big Pile of Cow Dung With Eric Trump

LSU political science professor Robert Hogan told Louisiana Radio Network that these numbers indicate a significant threat to Cassidy – a good thing, considering what he did to Trump.

“The key thing to keep in mind is that Bill Cassidy, an incumbent who has won statewide in two previous elections, is so far behind,” Hogan said. “Some of the polls indicate that he’s third.” He went on to say that if Cassidy finishes third on Saturday, that’ll likely be the end of his political career.

Fingers crossed this RINO loser is shown the exit in January.
