The riots in France are bringing out everyone these days, and they’re all telling the failed liberal leadership to wake up and do their job for once. And to the rioting migrants, they should go back where they came from. It’s obvious this mass migration nonsense doesn’t work – and no one except for deranged liberals wanted it anyway.
But here we are, in what could be the dumbest timeline our planet has ever seen – thanks to lefties who hate everything that they’re supposed to love, like their own country for example.
French soccer legend Emmanuel Petit has had enough, and he’s not keeping quiet about it. The 1998 World Cup winner took to Instagram Sunday to unleash what he called his “profound deep anger” over the riots ripping through France, where masked mobs have been torching cars, smashing storefronts, and turning city streets into war zones.
More than 2,400 rioters have already been arrested across the country. What started as protests over school policy and living costs turned into full-scale street warfare over the weekend, with riot police firing tear gas in both Paris and Marseille. Even President Emmanuel Macron admitted he felt “both anger and shame.” Good, he should.
Petit, the former Arsenal midfielder, did not tiptoe around it. He went after the rioters with both barrels, describing exactly what they are: “It’s thugs because their cowardice is what unites them. They destroy everything, they burn everything, they break everything, they plunder, they steal, they hurt, they aggress, they insult.” You can check out Emmanuel Petit’s comments on France riots to read his full statement yourself.
He was careful to separate the criminals from the regular working people who are also fed up. “You shouldn’t mix up the people who manifested yesterday, and I understand them strongly because I too am more than fed up of being pressed like a lemon on a fiscal plan,” Petit said, defending the taxpaying, law-following families who get up early every morning and get nothing back from their government in return.
On immigration, Petit drew a clear line. He welcomed foreigners who love France and want to integrate. The ones who don’t? He had a direct message. “But all the others, starting with the French who do not wish precisely that France continues to be what it is, go back from where you came, we don’t need you.” He even called out people born with French passports who joined the violence, telling them bluntly, “break yourselves, we don’t want you anymore.”
Then he turned his fire on the political class, and he didn’t spare Macron. “I’m addressing the political class, starting with our dear president, Mr. Macron, and all the political classes,” Petit said. “To all these people, I have a message to give you: be very careful about what you are going to do, what you are going to say, and how you are going to protect the honest citizens in France.”
He saved his sharpest line for last, summing up the spectacular failure of French government in one sentence. “Because today, there’s no money for the police, there’s no money for the army, there’s no money for the hospitals, there’s no money for the schools,” Petit said. Bizarrely, the only thing that works in France, is taxes.” Sounds like France hired the same people who run California.
Macron now faces mounting pressure to restore order while his own newspaper editorial pages are calling the riots an “indelible stain” on his presidency. If the French president was hoping a World Cup hero would give him some cover, he just found out that’s not happening.
No one with a working brain supports anything Macron is doing. Or should we say, everything he’s not doing. Break out the military and let them get to work. Make France Great Again.
