Fox’s Jessica Tarlov Just Got Nuked Into Oblivion By VP Vance Over Iran Deal

Let’s be clear about something. There have only been a handful of leaked, highly disputed details about the Memorandum of Understanding with Iran. But that seems to be enough for the plethora of left-wing pundits on TV to argue it is a horrible deal.

On Tuesday night’s episode of “The Five,” Jessica Tarlov aimed to expose what she believed was a problematic giveaway deal. She referenced a report from Axios, which indicated that CIA Director John Ratcliffe, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth all had concerns about what the administration could realistically gain from Iran.

“The Axios report last night was meaningful, where they said that CIA Director Ratcliffe, Rubio, and Hegseth, based on American intelligence, were doubting the kind of results that they thought we could get out of this deal,” Tarlov said to the VP, who was sitting next to her

Yeah…no, Jess.

? JUST IN: JD Vance OBLITERATES Jessica Tarlov claiming President Trump is giving stuff away to Iran

"Jessica, you're making the SAME MISTAKE, unfortunately, that a lot of the Iranian propagandists make."

“Yeah, so just let me address a couple things, because I think you’re making the same mistake, unfortunately, that a lot of the Iranian propagandists make when they talk about this,” Vance said. “They talk about the benefits to the Iranians without any of the things the Iranians would have to give up and have to change in order to get those benefits.”

Next up: The $300 billion ‘reconstruction’ money all these lefties are blathering about, including Tarlov, who made it sound like the Trump administration was about to write Tehran a check or something. Nope, that’s what Obama did; sent Iran pallets of cold, hard cash:

Vance shut that down immediately. Not a single cent of American money, under any circumstance, goes to Iran. He explained that the deal actually allows countries like the United Arab Emirates to invest in Iranian power plants, but only after Iran has done everything required of it.

“So we’re fundamentally saying if the Iranians transform how they interact with the world, we will transform how the world economy interacts with Iran,” Vance said.

Got it, Jessica? If Iran refuses to participate in the enlightened world and abide by the agreement, they aren’t getting any benefits. It’s not that difficult, but for some reason, it was lost entirely on Tarlov.

Vance wasn’t finished. He went on to say that regardless of whether Iran decides to play ball or not, the U.S. military has decimated the regime’s military, and it wasn’t even close. “Their nuclear program is still destroyed, their military is still destroyed, their missile program and industrial base is still destroyed,” Vance said. “We fundamentally have transformed the Middle East. Whether they comply or not, this is just icing on the cake.”

At that, Tarlov brought up a report that Qatar was secretly assisting the Iranians with funds. Unbothered, Vance said he was aware of it. “I’ve seen the report, by the way, and we have a great relationship with the Qataris,” he said.

At that point, Tarlov finally conceded that, yeah, no money had been given to Iran “from any Gulf partners,” but still tried to seem relevant by saying criticism of the deal was “bipartisan.” Sure it is; several departing RINOs hate it because “Trump!!” But again, Vance was unfazed.

“Well, I think, look, some of the criticism comes from the fact that if Donald Trump were elected the supreme leader of Iran, the Democrats would still say that the United States had lost this,” he said.

No doubt about that. Democrats are America Last, always and forever. But it was good to see Vance coolly dismantle just another empty-headed liberal on TV. Tarlov thought she brought receipts but she crumbled under Vance’s fact attack. And to be real, it won’t matter what the specifics of the final deal are. Democrats will hate it because Trump’s name is attached to it.
