BREAKING: Second-Place Finisher Declared In Calif. Governor Primary

We have some news regarding who finished second in the California governor’s race after an understandable amount of concern regarding elections in this messed up state.

Spencer Pratt, who emerged from last Tuesday’s primaries in the L.A. mayor’s race solidly in second place, has since dropped to third after massive late ballot dumps heavily favored socialist Nithya Ramen. Now she’s in second place, and The Associated Press is calling that race over.

Hmmm…

But that said, Decision Desk HQ has called the second-place finish for California governor: Republican Steve Hilton will be advancing against Democrat Xavier Beccera.

Current numbers show Hilton with 1,975,062 votes, while the third person, Democrat Tom Steyer, has 1,759,328. So Hilton is up more than 200,000, with 84 percent reporting. But DDHQ doesn’t believe that Steyer has enough juice to catch Hilton, so that race has been called.

We should get an official announcement sometime later today. But even so, it will come a week after the election. Pitiful. Pathetic. Unacceptable.

Hilton has a steep hill to climb in order to beat Becerra – it is blue California, after all. But he has campaigned on a promise of changing direction away from the left-wing garbage that has all but ruined the state. And so far anyway, that message is resonating with enough Californians to have propelled Hilton into the No. 2 spot.

Stay tuned.
