President Donald Trump is sick and tire of playing defense on election integrity. So he’s going on offense now ahead of the midterms.
The SAVE America Act seems dead in Congress. Pathetic RINOs in the Senate, many of them ticked off that they were beaten in primaries by Trump-backed challengers, are never going to let it pass this year. They would rather let their Trump Derangement Syndrome get the best of them than do what is right for our country and their constituents on their way out the door. They refuse to believe that had they been doing the right thing for our country and their constituents all along, Trump would have supported them instead and they’d be looking at another term.
Anyway, all that said, Trump’s ready to take the election integrity bull by the horns, RINOs be damned.
On Friday, the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) proposed comprehensive new regulations that would require states to submit the names, addresses, and unique ballot barcodes of voters for federal elections.
The rule would give the federal government the authority to ensure that mail ballots are sent to and returned by actual eligible voters. Trump signed the underlying executive order putting this process in motion.

“There’s been massive cheating going on,” Trump declared. You know he’s right. More on that in a moment.
Will Scharf, senior associate counsel to the president, outlined the issue that the order aims to address: inflated voter rolls and a mail voting system that, by design, provides almost no verification:
“We’re going to take federal data, we’re going to ensure that each state’s election officials are provided with a comprehensive view of who the eligible voters in their jurisdiction actually are, allowing them to properly verify that everybody voting in their elections is legally able to vote.”
“…it orders the Postmaster General and the US Postal Service to take bold new measures to verify that ballots both being sent to people are being sent to people who are eligible to vote, and then that ballots being returned are being properly returned by eligible voters only.”
The proposed rule aligns with this plan and introduces accountability to a process that has primarily relied on trust. States will be required to submit voter lists linked to unique barcodes on every outbound and return ballot envelope.
The USPS will compare the ballots sent with those returned and flag any discrepancies for further investigation. This basic chain-of-custody tracking is similar to what is already in place for nearly all other sensitive documents in America.
The proposed rule would impose uniform standards on election mail nationwide, including mandatory Election Mail logos, federal review of ballot-envelope designs, and state participation through a centralized Federal Ballot Mail Portal. Ballots that fail to comply with the new requirements—or that are not linked to an approved state-submitted voter list—could be flagged or rejected before they ever reach local election officials.
That’s a dramatic departure from how mail voting has traditionally worked in America.
For decades, local election officials were responsible for determining voter eligibility, maintaining voter rolls, designing ballot packets, and overseeing election administration within their jurisdictions. The U.S. Postal Service’s role was largely limited to delivering the mail.
Under the new framework, however, USPS would assume a far more active role. The Postal Service would receive voter-list data directly from states, track ballots throughout the delivery process, and determine whether election mail meets federally mandated standards.
In other words, USPS would no longer function merely as a delivery service. It would become an active participant in the election process itself.
There is some concern about whether the USPS can build the required infrastruction in time for the fall elections, which are about 5 months away. Some states will begin mailing out ballots 60 days ahead of Election Day.
That’s fair. But the Trump administration seems prepared to make this a priority and get it done, since Congress – even a GOP-controlled Congress – has been completely useless on this issue.
Of course, Democrats hate this and are lining up to fight it. Fortunately for our side, U.S. District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, declined last week to block the order. But Democrats won’t take that ‘no’ for an answer.
Chuck Schumer, one of the most worthless politicians we’ve ever had, reached into his grab bag of throwaway gaslighting lines to attack Trump’s order:
Mail-in voting is safe and secure — period. This new rule is just another malicious attempt by the Trump administration to suppress the votes of millions and try to throw the election results.
Lies. Mail-in ballots are not secure. And here’s the thing: Literally no one who is allowed to vote will be disenfranchised. It’s more BS from the Domestic Terrorist Party.
Trump is moving ahead anyway. He is obviously aware that 80 percent of Americans, from both parties, want voter ID and election integrity. Only cheating Democrats and their media sycophants are opposed.
