Here we go again. Inflammatory rhetoric from the Domestic Terrorist Party caused another act of violence against a conservative.
The life of Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett was reportedly threatened as police responded to reports of gunfire near her D.C.-area home.
Andrew Leyden, a Washington-based independent journalist, first reported shortly before 10 p.m. ET that a serious incident was unfolding at the residence of a Supreme Court justice.
Leyden initially did not identify the justice involved, but later indicated authorities had determined the situation was a “swatting” incident.
Leyden noted that the DC Metropolitan Police knew that a VIP lived at the address and responded accordingly:
Police responded to the scene and were aware of a VIP at the address. Given the nature of the call they suspected a swatting call. They met up with the security detail outside and the incident is now cleared.

Leyden, who later identified Coney Barrett as the target, reportedly obtained portions of police dispatch audio from Wednesday night. It showed that officers initially received reports of gunfire at a residence classified as an “LOI,” or “location of interest.”
The dispatch traffic also indicated the home had around-the-clock security protection. According to the reports, responding officers coordinated with the security detail at the residence and quickly determined the incident was a hoax swatting call.

The horrendous practice of “swatting” has grown in popularity over the past decade. It typically targets public officials.
A handout from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) notes the dangerous hoaxes intend to provoke large-scale responses from law enforcement. These can cause chaos and lead to “potential use of force that may result in harm for the target and responding officials”:
Swatting is making malicious hoax calls to emergency services to falsely report an ongoing emergency such as a violent crime or explosive device at a certain location. The intent is to cause large-scale deployment of Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) teams, bomb squads, and other police resources. Individuals and institutions are often unaware of the emergency response, causing confusion, frustration, and potential use of force that may result in harm for the target and responding officials.
The apparent swatting incident involving Coney Barrett, a mother of seven, comes roughly a year after her sister was targeted by a bomb threat at her home in Charleston.
The repeated threats have intensified concerns about the growing climate of intimidation and hostility surrounding members of the Supreme Court.
And all of them, literally, are coming from unstable supporters of the Democrat Party.
