The Justice Department under President Donald Trump appears to be moving quickly to eliminate the practice of racial gerrymandering, ensuring that the Supreme Court’s latest ruling is enforced nationwide. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon made this clear on Thursday when she responded to Sen. Eric Schmitt’s (R-MO) specific request on the issue, stating, “We are on it!”
Dhillon emphasized that the DOJ, under Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche, is committed to ensuring equal protection for all Americans. Mind you, this is a concept that shouldn’t be a novel idea given our Constitution’s explicit prohibition on using race to categorize anything, but the Domestic Terrorist Party has been doing this for decades before SCOTUS’s decision to finally end it this week..
In a previous discussion on X, Schmitt, who served as Missouri’s attorney general before being elected to the U.S. Senate, urged the department to use its full authority to enforce the Supreme Court’s recent decision across the country. He pointed out that the federal government has the power to intervene and stop states from continuing Democrat-led, race-based map-drawing practices.
Senator — we are ON IT! This @TheJusticeDept under @DAGToddBlanche continues to prioritize equal protection of the laws for ALL Americans, be it in employment, housing, education — and VOTING! https://t.co/7MHpwgQMis

“DOJ has the power to enforce this decision nationwide and must use it to end illegal racially-gerrymandered districts,” Schmitt declared, adding, “It’s time to enforce our laws and our color-blind Constitution. We must undo prior race-based actions.”
It comes in mens and womens and lets your friends know you're happy to express your views and don't care what anyone thinks! Cheers!

Again, this is a concept that civil rights leaders from 60 years ago were pushing: “A colorblind society.” But that was before Democrats figured out how to use that as an excuse to actually be racists and form racially-specific congressional districts that, of course, favored them.
Barack Obama may be the most affected by Dhillon’s statement.
On Wednesday, the Supreme Court struck down Louisiana’s congressional maps, ruling that the state overstepped by creating a second majority-Black district primarily based on race rather than adhering to traditional redistricting principles.
The former president, massive hypocrite that he is, appeared to have a mild stroke over the ruling, having previously opposed gerrymandering, only to later support it, and then reverting back to opposing it.
“Today’s Supreme Court decision effectively guts a key pillar of the Voting Rights Act, freeing state legislatures to gerrymander legislative districts to systematically dilute and weaken the voting power of racial minorities,” he complained, “so long as they do it under the guise of ‘partisanship’ rather than explicit ‘racial bias.'”

Let that sink in; the country’s first black president just said he supports racially gerrymandered voting districts over non-partisan redistricting efforts. That is the height of political terrorism.
Republican communications specialist Matt Whitlock pointed out the gargantuan hypocrisy of the 44th president:
If you were ever tempted to take Barack Obama’s racial fear-mongering as anything other than manipulation and opportunism, consider this…
The Virginia map that Barack Obama was the literal face of diluted black votes across several districts to elect more white Democrats.
Any state that relies on racially gerrymandered districts—whether it’s Louisiana, California, or anywhere in between—will likely need to redraw its maps. This change could help clarify the uncertainty surrounding the fight for control of the House this fall.
Democrats have heavily depended on these race-based districts to safeguard their power and create safe seats. This approach has become their standard practice—holding onto power by any means necessary, even if it is inherently racist.
