Democrats love three things more than anything else in life: Power, illegal aliens (who help them get and retain power), and fraud (which they also use to obtain and retain power). So it makes sense that the left-wing Democrat lunatics running California would propose legislation that would make it a crime to expose the latter: Fraud.
Critics are calling it the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” – named for the indy journalist who exposed billions of dollars in fraud in two deep blue enclaves, Minnesota and, yes, California:
As California Attorney General Rob Bonta celebrates the dismantling of a $267 million hospice fraud scheme, critics are sounding alarms over proposed legislation they argue could punish people who are trying to expose fraud within their own communities.
“They’re trying to make it so citizen journalists or just average Americans who are going about seeing what’s happening inside their community — they’re trying to scare them from talking about potential fraud taking place inside of these communities,” independent journalist Nick Shirley said Tuesday on “The Will Cain Show.”
“They’re literally willing to impose a $10,000 fine or imprisonment if you go and seek to find out the truth about a location that could potentially be fraudulent inside your own neighborhood.”
Sounds exactly like that:
California State Assemblywoman Mia Bonta, D-Calif., the attorney general’s wife, introduced AB 2624, which is titled “Privacy for Immigration Support Services Providers” or the “Stop Nick Shirley Act” by critics. It would expand existing safety and privacy laws for people working in immigration support services.
‘Protecting the privacy’ of anyone involved in “Immigration Support Services” is the very definition of shielding fraudsters because lo and behold, that’s where Nick found a ton of vote fraud when he went a-looking not long ago (and remember Dems love illegals and fraud):
California is the breeding ground for voter fraud in America, as millions of people vote with no ID, month-long election processes, inaccurate voter rolls, dead people caught voting, even a dog successfully registered to vote, and voter verification is all based on your signature — not who you actually are.
In this video, I go to locations from California’s public voter rolls from the Secretary of State, and not a single location could verify the voter rolls.
– Irregularities in voter numbers per location
– 30+ people registered to one mail store
– Voters inaccurately aged at 125 years oldWithout any voter ID and negligence from the state government to update their voter rolls, California’s one-party state has created a complex system where fraud is inevitable in their voting process.

More on the bill being intro’ed by the Democratic wife of the Democratic state attorney general:
The proposal would establish a program to keep residential addresses confidential and would also impose steep penalties for doxing these service providers.
Victims could seek damages of at least $4,000, while those who post personal information with the intent to threaten or incite violence could face criminal fines up to $10,000 and possible jail time.
Shirley said that the bill is “trying to protect these people who are committing this fraud. They’re stealing millions upon millions of dollars, and it just makes you wonder who their donors are.” He’s right, and it does make you wonder. Regardless, I can easily see Newsom signing this outrage.
But the larger point is this. We legitimately have a major political party in America that operates more like the Mafia of old. If Democrats could win elections on the merits of their policies and ideas, they wouldn’t have to resort to legalized cheating and the implementation of political protection schemes.
