In his highly anticipated interview with Joe Rogan, former President Donald Trump referred to Kamala Harris as “low IQ” and urged her to take a cognitive test. The topic arose during their discussion about the alarming and extreme rhetoric Democrats have used against Trump since he announced his candidacy in 2015.
“And the rhetoric is also that you’re Hitler, and that in order to stop Hitler, you have to do whatever it takes,” Rogan said. “And you’re hearing this now. Kamala compared you to, said you love of Hitler yesterday,” he added. Trump responded immediately: “You know, Kamala’s a very low IQ person. She’s a very low IQ. You know, I’m for taking tests, too. I think anybody that runs for president should take, they should give them tests. And it’s not an age thing. It’s not based… If you look back on history, 70s and 80s, some of your greatest leaders in the world, history, long-time world history, they were in their 70s and their 80s. But I think you should take cognitive tests.”

Trump had long urged President Biden to take a cognitive test before his debate meltdown in June, highlighting that he himself had submitted to (and fully passed) such tests. “I think Kamala should have a test, because there’s something missing. There’s something wrong with her,” Trump said of Harris. In another part of the three-hour interview, Trump noted that Harris has adopted several of his policies and made significant flip-flops compared to her 2019-20 presidential campaign.
During her initial presidential run, which ended before Super Tuesday, Harris endorsed various far-left policies related to immigration, the environment, and the economy. Some notable examples include her support for a fracking ban, taxpayer-funded healthcare for illegal immigrants, the decriminalization of illegal immigration, and restrictions on meat consumption. Harris has since abandoned the majority of these policy platforms, at least on the campaign trail.
“People are getting to know her. But she was to fund the police, she was to all these transgender operations. You know, if you wanted a sex change and you were in detention and you demanded a sex change, they would give you a sex change,” Trump said, pointing to more of Harris’ radical policy positions. “Now, she changed. She changed 15 policies. In fact, I’m going to send her a MAGA cap,” the former president joked, at which point Rogan noted that Harris copied the Trump-Vance Campaign’s “no tax on tips” policy.
