Vice President Kamala Harris has just gotten the worst news of her vice presidency, and there isn’t much time left in her term to do much about it.
In the history of NBC News polling, her approval rating has become the worst of any vice president. According to the survey, just 32 percent of respondents had a favorable view of the infamous cackler.
According to the poll, an astonishing 49 percent of respondents expressed a negative opinion of her. Within this group, a substantial 39 percent conveyed a ‘very negative’ perspective on her performance thus far.
Consequently, the Vice President finds herself with a net-negative rating of -17, marking an unfortunate precedent as the first vice president in the poll’s history to receive such an outcome.

Further historical comparisons only underline the gravity of the situation. In December 2010, the current President Joe Biden, then serving as the vice president, boasted a slightly positive rating with 34% positive and 33% negative (+1).
Going further back in history, in May 2003, Dick Cheney enjoyed a significantly positive public sentiment, with 47% positive views as opposed to a mere 24% negative, leaving him with a net positive rating of +23.
Back in March 1995, Al Gore, the vice president at the time, received a positive response from 42 percent of the respondents and a negative response from 27 percent, resulting in a net positive rating of +15. Harris’s current rating signifies a noteworthy deviation from historical patterns.
“The recent NBC News poll also revealed a shift in the Republican Party’s presidential race, with former President Donald Trump growing his lead among potential GOP candidates, despite his federal indictment in the classified documents probe. According to the poll, Trump now commands the support of 51 percent of Republican primary voters, a 5-point rise since April,” Trending Politics noted further.
The poll additionally shed light on the declining popularity of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis among GOP primary voters.
Currently, he enjoys the support of 22 percent of such voters, experiencing a substantial decline of 9 points since April. Other potential GOP candidates trail behind with former Vice President Mike Pence at 7 percent, former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie at 5 percent, and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley at 4 percent.
