Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) broke cover late Tuesday night with a tearful one-minute TikTok video filmed from the back of a car, asking supporters to send her money while federal investigators are busy doing their own digging into her affairs.
This is hilarious and she can cry all the way back to Somalia for all I care. She should be ashamed of herself to come to our country, do nothing for OUR people, and then have the nerve to be crying and begging for money. To that, I say:

The video came after Omar had been laying low following a search of her Washington, D.C., home last week as part of a growing federal probe into her immigration status. Nothing says “I have nothing to hide” quite like hiding, then popping up on TikTok to ask for cash.
We’re not sharing the video though, because we don’t want her video getting any views and tricking the algorithm devils into thinking she’s important. She’s not.
Omar, in a sometimes quivering voice, accused President Donald Trump of trying to “intimidate” her and “many other people” ahead of the midterm elections. She told supporters, “We know that they’re running scared, we’re not going to be intimidated, we’re not going to be silenced, we’re not going to be scared.” Brave words from someone who just spent a week out of the public eye after the feds knocked on her door.
She pledged to get back on the campaign trail, saying, “I’ll be out there campaigning alongside all of you and making sure that we beat back all of this and that we win in the midterms, win the House, win the Senate and hold this administration accountable.” Big plans. Also, the donation bucket is open.
It is going to be a very expensive and challenging time and so we appreciate whether you’re able to send $5, $10, $20,” she said, wrapping up with a “Thank you.” A tearful TikTok from a moving vehicle is apparently the new Democratic fundraising strategy, and honestly it tracks.
And if the car is moving, then shouldn’t she be charged with a crime of driving while distracted?
You can follow Ilhan Omar federal probe updates as this story continues to develop across multiple fronts.
Because the immigration investigation apparently wasn’t enough excitement, U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro revealed this week that her office has also opened a financial investigation into the congresswoman. That probe may pick up where the Biden administration reportedly left off, looking into Omar’s multi-million-dollar personal net worth. So now there are two federal investigations running simultaneously. That’s a tough week even by Washington standards.
Omar says she’ll be out campaigning soon. The feds say they’ll be out investigating. At this rate, whoever finishes first wins. Stay tuned, because this particular TikTok story is far from over.
