New York radio host Sid Rosenberg says he spotted Maria Bartiromo at the White House on Thursday during a visit to meet Vice President JD Vance, revealing the encounter the following morning on 77 WABC Radio. Rosenberg said he saw Bartiromo walk out of an office as he moved between rooms after his meeting with the vice president.
The visit came after Rosenberg publicly criticized Vance earlier this month, saying the vice president was “not strong enough on Israel” and calling him “silly” for attributing antisemitism in the country largely to immigration. Vance’s office arranged the meeting in response.
Rosenberg Describes the White House Encounter
Rosenberg told his co-hosts he spent nearly half an hour with Vance and several others in the vice president’s office, coming away impressed. He described Vance as “charming” and “likable,” and said he texted Donald Trump Jr. after the meeting to share his positive assessment.
After leaving Vance’s office, Rosenberg said he passed through a room between the vice president’s suite and the Oval Office when he noticed Bartiromo. “Beautiful room. Mind you, Maria Bartiromo walked out when I was there,” he said. Rosenberg added that he never got the chance to speak with her and that she did not appear to notice him. Bartiromo’s Departure From Fox News
Bartiromo has been among President Donald Trump’s most frequent media contacts, conducting numerous interviews with him over the years. In early September, Fox News announced she would be leaving the network, prompting Trump to predict her fans would be upset and to call her “a true warrior.
A week after her exit was announced, Bartiromo used social media to thank supporters who had reached out. Mediaite contacted both the White House and Bartiromo’s lawyer for comment on Rosenberg’s account of her presence there.
