Enough Is Enough: Justice Dept. Now Serious About Probing Calif. Elections

California’s election system is a sick joke. Democrats have set it up for monstrous abuses, and we’ve seen recently in real time what that looks like. In Los Angeles, Republican Spencer Pratt watched his sizeable second-place finish over Nithya Raman disappear over the course of the 7-day period the state allows ballots to continue rolling in. Ballots that are, by the way, shotgunned out to every name on every voter registration list. These are the same lists that are grossly outdated and which contain who knows how many non-citizens.

There are election systems in other blue states that are probably just as bad. But California, because of its size, is currently in the spotlight. For his part, Pratt isn’t about to let this go. In fact, he says one of the top two finishers – incumbent Mayor Karen Bass or Raman – is about to get some horrific news provided him by a campaign insider. They could be getting a visit from the FBI. His goal is to expose the corrupt system and tear it down:

It looks like Pratt is going to get some assistance from the Trump Justice Department as well:

Federal authorities are investigating California’s election system as President Donald Trump escalates criticism of the state’s prolonged vote-counting process and Republicans renew calls for nationwide election reforms.

The scrutiny intensified after U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli announced that multiple election fraud investigations are underway in coordination with the FBI, marking one of the most significant federal examinations of California elections in recent years.

The investigations come as hundreds of thousands of ballots continue to be counted following California’s primary elections, with several high-profile races tightening days after Election Day.

“Protecting the integrity of California’s elections is a top priority for my office,” Essayli said while confirming the investigations and pointing to what he described as “serious structural vulnerabilities” in California’s election system.

Federal officials have not disclosed the specific targets or scope of the investigations. However, Essayli indicated that his office is examining potential election-related violations while also continuing a separate legal battle over access to California’s voter registration records.

There is no doubt that more than a few Democratic voters in California are perfectly fine with the current system, no matter how corrupt it may be. That’s because they love it when their team wins (and their team wins a lot). But the broader picture is this. No matter where we live, if Americans can’t trust their election outcomes, our society will crumble faster than Joe Biden did during his 2024 debate with President Trump.

Get this done, Attorney Essayli.
