Things began to look uncertain on Friday for the prospects of the Great American State Fair. Several musical artists that the Freedom 250 organizers heavily promoted for the concert scheduled to take place on June 25 at Washington, D.C.’s historic Mall announced they would not be attending.
The most notable artist to drop out is likely multiple Country Music Award-winner Martina McBride. In a statement, she told fans and other interested parties that she felt “misled” by the organizers and hoped to “clear the air” regarding her decision not to perform.
That excuse has Trump Derangement Syndrome written all over it, considering she performed for Bill Clinton and Barack Obama back in the day.
Anyway…
On Saturday, President Trump took to his Truth Social account to discuss a current issue, which is typical for him. He proposed an idea that he says is still in the planning stages: replacing all the entertainers with himself as the headliner.

I understand Artists are getting “the yips” having to do with their performance on Wednesday, so I am thinking about bringing the Number One Attraction anywhere in the World, the man who gets much larger audiences than Elvis in his prime, and he does so without a guitar, the man who loves our Country more than anyone else, and the man who some say is the Greatest President in History (THE GOAT!), DONALD J. TRUMP, to take the place of these highly paid, Third Rate “Artists,” and give a major speech, rallying the Country forward like I have done ever since being President! Two years ago, the United States was DEAD. Now we have the “HOTTEST” Country anywhere in the World.
Trump didn’t namedrop McBride, but he did take some verbal shots at the artists who decided to let the woke mob take away a golden opportunity to get some fabulous publicity:
I don’t want so-called “Artists” that get paid far too much money, who aren’t happy. I only want to be surrounded by Happy People, Smart People, Successful People, and People that know how to WIN.
He closed with, “Only Great Patriots [are invited],” and “It will be a Wild and Beautiful Celebration of America!”
Pure Trump. Would he be a draw? Absolutely he would be. And he’s right about only being around Americans who genuinely love and support their country.
