As if Jasmine Crockett’s political career couldn’t get any worse. A new video shows the Democrat looking like a complete mess and needing assistance walking. Many on social media accused her of being drunk, but it’s unclear if she was.
This video, as you’ll see below, comes after she was spotted on stage with known-felon Chris Brown, despite her previous statements talking about keeping women safe from violence.
Crockett is already facing widespread public backlash after appearing on stage at a concert in Arlington, Texas, to present singer Chris Brown with an official congressional recognition. The incident occurred on September 12, 2026, during a joint performance featuring Brown and fellow R&B artist Usher.
Crockett was accompanied on stage by Texas State Representative Venton Jones. During her appearance, Crockett announced to the crowd that both Chris Brown and Usher would have their names entered into the Congressional Record to honor their contributions to music. Addressing the audience, Crockett stated that the concert represented “Black joy at the highest level” and explained that she wanted to officially document the moment in Washington, D.C.
The presentation immediately sparked criticism from the public and prominent figures, including author Roxane Gay, who questioned the decision to grant a congressional honor to an individual with a documented history of domestic violence. Critics highlighted Brown’s 2009 guilty plea for assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna, as well as subsequent legal issues involving physical altercations. Observers also noted that the lawmakers did not use their time on stage to address civic engagement or voting.
Following the event, State Representative Venton Jones issued a public apology, explicitly addressing Black women who felt hurt or let down by the lawmakers’ actions on stage.
Chris Brown later responded to the controversy via Instagram, thanking Crockett for the official recognition while acknowledging the criticism directed at her. Crockett did not immediately release a formal statement regarding the backlash.
It just shows what a hypocrite she is, and most of the Democratic Party is the same way; they point at people and accuse them of the things they’re doing themselves.
