As we approach the 2026 midterm elections, the party that is not in power—specifically, the Democrats—usually has an advantage. However, recent redistricting has created a much more competitive electoral landscape. Additionally, Democrats are facing the challenge of low voter approval ratings, as we reported earlier.
CNN senior data analyst Harry Enten pointed out that, along with redistricting—which is expected to result in more seats for Republicans—the Democrats’ numbers in the generic Congressional ballot have declined since March and are now within the margin of error.
And recently, the Associated Press published an article discussing internal conflicts within the Democratic Party, titled “Inside the Furor Plaguing Democratic National Committee Leader Ken Martin.”
Sounds like the internal machinations of the Domestic Terrorist Party are not good:
Major donors aren’t giving. Liberal influencers are publicly questioning Martin’s refusal to release an internal report on the party’s failures. And Democratic operatives have begun informal discussions about recruiting a new chair, even as most believe that Martin’s job isn’t in serious jeopardy ahead of the midterm elections.
Amanda Litman, who leads the Democratic-allied organization Run For Something, said she’s been approached by senior strategists in recent days gauging her interest in replacing Martin. She declined but said many in the party have lost faith in the DNC leader.
“I think it’s a really hard job, and also Ken is not doing it very well,” Litman told The Associated Press. “I honestly think he’s going to have a hard time rebuilding trust.”
Wow. Don’t hold back there, or anything.
It comes in mens and womens and lets your friends know you're happy to express your views and don't care what anyone thinks! Cheers!

According to the AP, the back-and-forth about him is making Martin “increasingly paranoid,” even inside party headquarters. And it could make it “harder for them to win in November, while undermining faith in the DNC as it coordinates the party’s next presidential nomination process.”
Then, of course, there’s the money issue, which is substantial:
The national party reported $22.1 million cash on hand with $18.4 million in debt at the end of March, according to its most recent federal filing. The Republican National Committee, by contrast, reported $116.8 million in the bank with zero debt.
No one is donating to the Domestic Terrorist Party, which has devolved into nothing more than the “Trump Party of No.” When all you do is oppose the guy in the White House without telling anyone what you are for, then what do Democrats expect?
Martin has been aggressively courting big-dollar donors, despite their demonstrated reluctance to give to the committee. He acknowledged pressure related to the autopsy in some of the conversations and indicated changes could be coming soon, according to two people with direct knowledge of the discussions but not authorized to share them.
Last month, we saw that even congressional Democrats’ approval ratings among Democratic voters were poor, and that most Democratic voters feel their party lacks the right priorities.
The time is now for the Republican Party. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to put the last nail in the coffin of the most destructive political party in our history. Let’s go all-in, GOP.
