We reported earlier today on some bombshell news regarding information declassified by DNI Tulsi Gabbard pertaining to President Trump’s first impeachment during his first term. We also said we knew then that the entire episode was a scam and it was, according to Gabbard’s info-dump. But it’s actually much worse than we thought and frankly, unless or until a lot of people go to jail, we should probably expect Democrats to pull off something similar against Trump again if they happen to steal back the House in the November midterms.
My colleague Frank Bruno noted:
The impeachment effort against Trump in 2019 was a sham, as many of us have long known. While there were some elements of truth, it was largely a Democrat-manufactured initiative alleging a quid pro quo based on hearsay. Key to this controversy was then-Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who chaired the House Intelligence Committee and lied to the public about his contact with the whistleblower who instigated this situation – a lie for which there still have been zero legal consequences, by the way.
The analyst involved admitted to being a committed Democrat, which raised questions about his political bias. But that meant he was perfectly aligned with individuals within the so-called “Deep State” who were trying to undermine Trump’s presidency.
“Recently declassified documents from the Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, reveal that even the whistleblower’s colleagues were skeptical of the intelligence operations, despite their support for the impeachment effort. One of the witnesses, referred to as “witness #2,” had worked with disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok, a central figure in the Russian collusion narrative. This witness also co-authored the 2017 Intelligence Community Assessment, ordered by Barack Obama before he left office, which contained flawed information supporting the collusion claims,” Frank added.
Now, Just the News has more, and frankly, it’s frightening how this all came off and how scot-free everyone has gotten off thus far:
U.S. intelligence watchdog developed derogatory evidence about the CIA analyst who prompted the 2019 Ukraine-focused impeachment against Donald Trump, including that he submitted false information in his whistleblower complaint, offered hearsay to support his allegations and had the “potential for bias,” according to newly declassified memos that were kept from Americans during the failed bid by Democrats to remove the president from office six years ago.
The documents declassified by Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard at the request of Just the News provide a starkly different portrait of the alleged whistleblower whose name and face were never shown to the public and whose lawyerly written letter accusing Trump of hijacking Ukraine policy for political gain was heralded by Democrats to launch impeachment proceedings.
Investigators for the Intelligence Community Inspector General documented several concerns about the Trump accuser’s political motives, noting he admitted he was a “registered Democrat” who had worked closely with Joe Biden on Ukraine issues and who disliked some of the conservative figures in the president’s orbit, the memos show.
The investigators also elicited an apology from the Trump accuser for misleading the probe and were acutely aware his allegations were based solely on second- and third-hand accounts about what Trump was alleged to have said and done.
“I do not have direct knowledge of private comments or communications by the President,” the alleged whistleblower, who claimed Trump improperly tried to pressure Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to investigate Hunter Biden, confessed in his initial August 2019 intake form.
John Solomon and his team over at Just the News noted regarding that admission: “That stunning line on the limitations of the whistleblower’s knowledge was not included in the nine-page letter then-House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff, D-Calif., released in late summer 2019 that touched off a months-long political maelstrom and led to Trump’s impeachment by a Democrat-led House and his eventual acquittal in the Senate.”
Defense attorneys for President Donald Trump—along with some lawmakers involved in the impeachment process—are raising serious concerns about what they describe as a rigged system stacked against him from the start.
According to those familiar with the proceedings, potentially exculpatory and damaging information about Trump’s accuser was deliberately kept under wraps by then–Inspector General Michael Atkinson and Rep. Adam Schiff. By classifying this evidence, they effectively blocked it from being used by the defense—undermining any claim that the impeachment process was fair or transparent.
Critics argue this wasn’t just a procedural issue—it was a calculated move that denied Trump a full and proper defense while shaping a one-sided narrative for both Congress and the American public.
“Our adversarial system of justice requires the government to turn all exculpatory evidence over to the accused. That’s especially true when lawmakers seek to remove a duly elected president through impeachment and a Senate trial,” said famed Harvard law professor emeritus Alan Dershowitz, one of Trump’s defense lawyers in the case.
“The evidence about the bias and credibility of the whistleblower who started the scandal should have been front and center in the 2019 impeachment, but it was hidden by bureaucrats and that was a disservice to justice and to the American people,” Dershowitz said.
Former GOP Rep. Mark Meadows—who defended President Trump during impeachment before later serving in the White House—made it clear that Republicans weren’t buying the narrative being pushed at the time.
According to Meadows, GOP lawmakers involved in the proceedings had deep reservations about the so-called whistleblower from the outset, openly questioning his credibility and whether his claims could be trusted at all.
“The exaggerated pushback and concern from Chairman Adam Schiff made many Republicans members think that there was much more of a coordinated propaganda effort than seeking the truth in any potential wrongdoing,” Meadows said. “Democrats leaked everything from the secure deposition room except the fact that they were coordinating with a ‘so called’ whistleblower who had no first-hand knowledge of the subject.”
All of this to say this wasn’t some minor political game to ‘trip Trump up.’ This was Democrats, led by Schiff and all set in motion by Obama (the Russiagate hoax), to take down a duly elected president by available means. A coup attempt, in other words.
People need to be charged for this and put in prison for a very, very long time. The Trump DOJ should start with Pencilneck Schiff.
