The United States Oil and Gas Association criticized Arizona Senator Mark Kelly, who is known for his involvement in the “Seditious Six” scandal, following his remarks on rising gas prices in his state, which he blamed on Operation Epic Fury.
“This is from a gas station in Phoenix yesterday: $6.49 for a gallon of gas,” Sen. Kelly wrote on X. “All because Trump started a war with no plan and no idea how it would affect everyday Americans. I’m fighting to suspend the federal gas tax to bring families some relief, but what they really need is a president focused on lowering their costs.”

The U.S. Oil and Gas Association wasn’t about to let this go.
“Hello Senator. This has already been pointed out, but allow us to reemphasize that: 33% of Arizona’s gasoline — including the entire Phoenix refined products market — comes from California refineries via pipeline. With CA Democrat energy policy forcing the closure of major facilities, this dependency will mean higher prices & tighter supply ahead. Arizona has ZERO refineries of its own,” the association replied. “With your military background, you of all people recognize that recent events have shown how unwise it is to allow an economy to be at risk of foreign choke points halfway across the world. AZ is no different.”
“We recommend AZ decouple itself from CA energy policy as soon as possible,” they added. “Thank you for sharing your views. We will certainly keep them in mind.”

Also, with his “military background,” he knows Trump and the Pentagon didn’t just willy nilly attack Iran without a clear battle plan, goals, and an exit strategy. So shame on his seditious self for that crack as well.
In any event, it’s Trump who is working to mitigate prices and ease market pressures. He recently re-authorized oil drilling off California’s coast, to the outrage of California Democrats who don’t really give a you-know-what about average Americans.

California is sitting on 600 MILLION barrels of oil—locked up for over a decade…
I went to Platform Harmony: 60,000 barrels a day now flowing again, jobs returning after 11 years in limbo.

Democrats are starting to run on “affordability” ahead of the midterms, claiming that theirs is now the party of making life better for Americans after Trump won big on the issue following years of Bidenflation and trillion-dollar Democrat boondoggles. But it’s a lie.
While Trump and Republicans actually implement policies that are making life easier to afford such as big, beautiful tax cuts, securing trillions in new investments (meaning more jobs), and opening up oil drilling (for cheaper gas and energy prices), Democrats oppose every single one of those policies. Deep down they still prefer open borders (which takes jobs from Americans, floods our schools, health care systems, and public services with illegal aliens), boys in your daughter’s locker room, zero new oil drilling, and higher taxes (just ask Gov. Abigail Spanberger in Virginia).
Democrats won’t even fund the TSA, leaving agents to leave for another job or get behind on their rent and house payments, to say nothing of being able to afford groceries and keep the lights on.
The last people who can credibly run on “affordability” are members of the same party that has made life insanely expensive in America.
Mark Kelly should apologize for his insane gaslighting. But he won’t because Democrats never apologize for putting America last.
