Cuba Suffering A Nationwide Blackout For Days – You’ll Never Guess Who The Left Is Blaming

With the news this week that Cuba is experiencing an island-wide blackout, it has become a significant backdrop for social activists who often prioritize their own egos. Code Pink has dispatched a group of supporters to the island, along with the ironically named grifter Hasan Piker and various other similarly self-inflated organizations from different nations.

The issues in Cuba are extensive and have been developing for a long time. While it may be absurd to place all the blame for the country’s struggles on the United States, blaming former President Trump for decades of communist mismanagement is simply too much to accept, even with three mojitos to help swallow that.

Most of these groups are bringing food and supplies with them, which is commendable. However, as crowds descend on Havana, there’s a growing sense that their form of “assistance” is more of a burden. After all, providing these suppliers with goods and services while they try to help the country can be problematic, especially since Cuba has very limited resources. This highlights the flawed thinking of these “helpers.”

NOW ?? We're on our way to Cuba!

The “I’m helping!” attitude is strong with this group. A noticeable hypocrisy is that while the island is experiencing power outages, these well-meaning individuals on the left are staying in luxury resorts that have electricity. Initially, they seemed unaware of this contradiction.

Understand the cement-head posturing by the activists in Havana:
They flew in because the country is crippled by a lack of fuel, but they have the means to get a fleet of tour buses operating to go on a socialist safari and take pictures of the blighted natives in Cuba. pic.twitter.com/eUbHBkgZ38

They are spreading the word about the suffering of the locals who are without electricity. Yet, ironically, these self-important activists can charge their phones and publicly showcase their good deeds. Additionally, the support of the regime is evident in the armed security present on site, which is meant to deter locals from protesting against these showy activists.

Piker suddenly realized that consistently posting selfies from the lobby, where it is obvious he has Wi-Fi and good lighting, doesn’t present a very noble image. He then tried to justify that he is REQUIRED to stay in these resorts under orders from the American government. If you believe this nonsense coming from this self-proclaimed influencer, please—by all means—spend more of your unnecessary dollars not on Cuban relief efforts but on his premium subscription package.

As is always the case on the Trump-deranged left, someone eventually got around to blaming us for Cuba’s decades of destructive communism. Oh, and President Trump in particular, who is maintaining the decades-long ‘cruel’ US policy:

The blackout here in Cuba is eerie and disturbing. Whole streets with zero light, every window dark, and then you see shapes moving in the darkness and realize people are trying to live their lives. I cannot believe how cruel this US policy is. We could stop this.

Yes, of course, “we could end it,” meaning “Trump could end it” if he wasn’t such a cruel ogre. Never mind the Castro bros ruined Cuba a long time ago, though they have lived high on the hog while their people suffer. Which is always how it is under communism.

In reality, it is Trump who is trying to help Cuba. He has said the island’s government has been in touch with his administration and there may be plans underway to transition away from the nightmare of Mamdani-style government to something more resembling American-style freedom and prosperity. We shall see.

But no matter what the busybody Code Pinkers think, Cuba’s current problems were not caused by Trump. If they have to blame someone other than the Cuban regime, maybe start from the beginning, with Marilyn Monroe’s boyfriend.
