We’ve seen plenty of political battles before, but this one is getting downright dangerous for the American people.
Despite ongoing terror attacks and the utter chaos unfolding at airports due to a wave of TSA agent resignations over pay issues, the Democrats have once again voted to continue the partial government shutdown and have refused to restore funding for the Department of Homeland Security. This marks the fourth time since early February that these extremist Democrats have blocked funding for DHS.
House Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and his allies are effectively putting American lives at risk as they stubbornly continue to throw fits over their outrageous demands for ‘reforms’ to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Who would have thought back in 2022 that John Fetterman, then a candidate and now a sitting senator from Pennsylvania, would be the only Democrat in Congress who hasn’t completely lost his grip (though he did say he’s a ‘no’ on the SAVE Act)?
Senate Democrats on Thursday defeated a motion to proceed to a House-passed bill to reopen the Department of Homeland Security and end the 27-day shutdown that has hampered the functions of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and other critical agencies.
The motion failed by a vote of 51 to 46. Centrist Sen. John Fetterman (Pa.) was the only Democrat to vote with Republicans to advance the funding bill. It needed 60 votes to advance.

As Schumer remains steadfast in his position, GOP lawmakers have accused the Democrats of attempting to undermine the agency responsible for protecting our nation’s security.
Throughout the day, Senate Democrats tried to offer individual bills to fund pieces and parts of DHS. A fired-up Senate Majority Whip John Barrasso, R-Wyo., accused Senate Democrats of trying to rip the agency apart at a moment it was designed for, as the war in Iran has spurred threats of retaliation in the U.S. by sleeper cells.
“And that’s at a time when our homeland is under attack, all warning lights are flashing red, and they want to peel apart, piece by piece, the Department of Homeland Security, the comprehensive department of our government to protect the American people, because they want to stand with illegal immigrant criminals,” Barrasso said.

We’ve grown accustomed to the dramatic antics and performative displays from Democrats during the Trump era, and while they can be amusing to mock due to their often laughable nature, the latest actions from the Left are anything but funny. They are jeopardizing our national security and putting American lives at risk—all in an effort to target Trump.
That’s right, I’m looking at you, California Democratic Senator Adam Schiff—this is a genuine “danger to democracy.”
