It’s not difficult to understand why the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act, also known as the “SAVE America Act,” is seen as a significant threat by Democrats. Traditional Democratic voting blocs, particularly among Black and Hispanic Americans, are starting to recognize the party’s long history of exploiting their votes. The party’s response has been for Joe Biden to open the southern border, allowing millions of illegal immigrants to enter the country. However, not to worry: Democrats assure us that none of these individuals are participating in elections.
Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) and Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) have laid out their demands for DHS.

On Tuesday, Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) made a statement that could be interpreted as either a simple mistake that public speakers sometimes make, or perhaps the most significant Freudian slip. While discussing Democrats’ opposition to the SAVE America Act, he delivered this notable tidbit:
“[T]heir bill isn’t voter ID … It is about voter registration. It allows ICE to kick tens of billions of people off the rolls, off the rolls. And they don’t tell them until election day and you show up and you say, ‘You’re not registered anymore, you’re not registered here. You’re not on the rolls.’ And they say, ‘I didn’t know that.’ This is a bill that destroys the country.
And it is not about showing ID when you show up to vote. It’s about the voter registration rolls — destroying them, purging them, not letting people know and taking the rights in a algorithm put together by ICE, put together by DOGE [Department of Government Efficiency] and [Elon] Musk. It’s an outrage. And that’s why so many people don’t want to pass it.”
Has Chucky unintentionally confirmed what many of us have suspected for some time? The truth is, it’s already been verified. There are numerous accounts of illegal immigrants casting votes in American elections. Just this week, an illegal immigrant from Mauritania was apprehended by ICE and charged with voter fraud in Philadelphia. He reportedly voted in every federal election since 2008—every single one. Is this the ICE that Schumer is referring to?

The SAVE America Act aims to require individuals to provide proof of U.S. citizenship when registering to vote, as well as a photo ID for participation in federal elections. Additionally, the legislation mandates that states verify voters’ citizenship status and remove any non-citizens from the voter rolls. A key challenge for Schumer and the Democrats is that an impressive 85 percent of Americans back the SAVE America Act, which includes 70 percent of Democrats.
Talk about a piece of legislation that is a lay-up winner for every member of Congress – kind of like getting rid of Daylight Saving Time. But no. Maybe that’s why Congress is less popular than a head cold or old asparagus.
Chuck Schumer’s recent “misspeak” could serve as a powerful argument—at least for Democrats—for the need to cleanse Congress of members whose cognitive abilities seem to be fading, including Schumer himself.
However, this situation hasn’t exactly been a well-kept secret; the Democrats’ future voters are already here. Now you also know why they’re going after ICE and Border Patrol with rhetoric that borders on the insane.
