After President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address Tuesday night, the White House blasted what it called Democrats’ embarrassing reaction to a speech filled with what the administration framed as clear American wins.
Look, no one expects the opposition party to leap to its feet for policies it opposes. That’s politics. But what stood out wasn’t disagreement — it was the refusal to acknowledge objectively positive developments.
When the president cited strong economic indicators, national security gains, and international wins, many Democrats remained seated, stone-faced, offering nothing — not even polite applause for good news that benefits the country as a whole.
It was disgraceful and disgusting, frankly.

The White House statement let Democrats have it, and they deserve every bit of this shredding (emphasis theirs):
Democrats Showed Whose Side They’re On — And it’s Not the American People
Tonight, President Donald J. Trump delivered a historic State of the Union address before a joint session of Congress — proudly declaring the dawn of a new Golden Age after just one year of transformative leadership in his second term. In a powerful speech, President Trump highlighted unprecedented accomplishments: a fully secure border, plummeting inflation, falling gas prices and crime rates, surging stock markets and 401(k)s, massive tax relief for working Americans, and bold actions to restore peace through strength abroad.
This was a speech of renewal and resolve — yet congressional Democrats, consumed by delusional hatred and obstruction, refused to join in celebrating these victories for the American people.
While the Democrats who actually showed up couldn’t even stand for the grieving families of those killed by illegal immigrants, those who chose to stay away were busy attending these kinds of freak shows:

This Trump 2.0 administration operates differently. It’s organized, it’s disciplined — and it keeps receipts.
They’re not interested in letting moments like that fade into the background. When critics dismiss achievements or react with open hostility to positive news for the country, this White House is quick to document it, circulate it, and make sure voters see it.

It’s honestly a shocking list. These are the issues that the Democrats seem to overlook and have little enthusiasm for. If you’re curious about what really matters to them, just take a look at the troubles stemming from Joe Biden’s troubling time in office.
Instead of focusing on the priorities outlined previously, they are concentrated on open borders, radical gender ideologies, skyrocketing living costs, a weakened presence on the global stage, crumbling cities, and neglecting what should be a strong energy sector.
The Democrats are continually revealing themselves as the America-last clowns they’ve become. Tuesday night was the epitome of that reality.
