We’ve witnessed the anti-Trump rallies in 2016, the George Floyd protests in 2020, and the ongoing anti-ICE demonstrations in predominantly blue cities ever since President Trump began tackling the illegal immigration issues that were left unresolved by former President Joe Biden.
One element has remained constant throughout these events: Antifa.
This group, whose name stands for anti-fascist, is notorious for their intimidating black outfits, complete with masks, and their often aggressive behavior. They seem to appear out of nowhere whenever a demonstration erupts, and they are certainly not there to promote peace.
But what’s the source of their funding? Who is backing them?

FBI Director Kash Patel has sought to uncover these answers, and he recently revealed that the bureau has made some progress in its investigation:
FBI Director Kash Patel said Wednesday that investigators have uncovered what he described as major funding streams tied to antifa.
The revelation signaled possible new enforcement action as the bureau intensified scrutiny of left-wing violence, according to a report from the Washington Examiner.
Speaking on “The Dan Bongino Show,” Patel said the FBI under President Donald Trump has been conducting a financial investigation into how demonstrations linked to the loosely organized far left movement are supported.

For the record, those who believe that Bongino left his position as FBI Deputy Director on bad terms would have a difficult time explaining why Patel would choose to appear on his show.
That said, the director went on to say that they have identified several suspects, but they’re not quite ready to disclose their identities just yet:
“These organizations don’t operate alone or in silence,” Patel said. “They operate with a heavy, heavy stream of funding.
“And we started looking into it, and guess what? We found them.”
Patel did not identify specific donors, organizations, or financial mechanisms, but said more details could emerge in the coming months as the investigation continues.
“Money doesn’t lie,” he added. He also smacked former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden for ignoring the violent activists and calling the decentralized group “an idea.”
“It’s not an idea when actual action follows the idea,” Patel said.

A public safety director at @Reed_College cooperated with the FBI investigation to identify Hoopes. In response, the college fired the man, and leftists in public denounced him.
Currently, nine individuals opposing ICE have been charged with ambushing an ICE officer in Texas, resulting in gunfire that wounded him. A federal judge called for a mistrial on Tuesday, which stemmed from the bizarre decision of the defense lawyer to wear a politically charged T-shirt—an incredibly unwise move for someone in their position. We’ll see how this situation unfolds moving forward.
Patel mentioned that he has raised the matter within the department and that they are diligently working on their case; however, he did not provide any updates on new imminent charges from the DOJ. Here’s hoping that we see some progress soon.
It’s about time those funding rebellion and sedition in our country face the music.
