Good things are happening in America under President Donald Trump.
To begin with, our economy is returning to Trump 1.0 form when, during his first term, it was expanding, exploding, and humming right along, per a bang-up jobs report that posted yesterday. The one big difference during Trump 2.0 is the trillions and trillions of dollars in new investment pledges the president has secured from countries and companies all over the world. The reported numbers indicate positive news for the economy and will significantly support the Trump administration’s efforts to demonstrate how its policies are promoting affordability for all Americans.
Add to that the fact that crime is tanking fast under Trump. So why aren’t we hearing more about that? Because, you know the old saying: You really can’t hate the ‘mainstream media’ enough. Axios provided a great illustration of this phenomenon on Wednesday with an article highlighting the significant decline in crime rates. The tweet that Axios shared on X featured this attention-grabbing headline hating on the president:
“Crime plunges in major cities despite Trump’s crackdown rhetoric.”
Can you believe this presentation of a clear Trump success!
Instead of showing it just as it is, Axios (leftist hacks) are telling us that crime plunged "despite" Trump.

Wait, what? Given the crackdown, that doesn’t really add up. It’s such a strange perspective—not only is there no acknowledgment of President Trump’s efforts, but suggesting it’s happening “despite his crackdown rhetoric” is puzzling.
They claimed that in some areas, things were already declining before Trump took office, though no one “really knows why.”
But the bottom line is this: Crime began falling dramatically in 2025, the year after Joe Biden and Kamala Harris were mercifully routed and sent packing.
The report from the Major Cities Chiefs Association (MCCA) shows declines across every major violent-crime category in 2025 compared to 2024. It features data from 67 of the nation’s biggest police departments, and confirms other studies on last year’s declines.

The Axios article, naturally, does not address the reasons why Trump’s actions might lead to a decrease in crime.

President Trump securing the border, mobilizing federal law enforcement to arrest violent criminals, and deporting the worst of the worst illegal aliens is EXACTLY what’s driving the massive drop in crime.
I guess it was too much for Axios; they ended up stealth editing the headline. Now it reads, “Violent crime plummets across major U.S. cities.”
Can’t hate these media people enough.
