Donald Trump has a new label for the Left’s permanent outrage class: “panicans” — people addicted to manufactured panic and perpetual hysteria. His message to Americans is simple and direct: don’t be a panican.
It fits. Democrats are never satisfied, because their political model depends on constant anger and grievance. When they’re in power, they blame everyone else for the problems they create. When they’re out of power, every day is a crisis, every policy disagreement is an “emergency,” and every headline is framed as the end of democracy.
Nothing is ever stable. Nothing is ever good enough. Calm is the enemy.

That’s why panic is the product they sell — outrage, resentment, and victimhood dressed up as moral urgency. Even prosperity must be described as catastrophe if it doesn’t align with their narrative.
The Trump White House is pushing back against that mindset, reminding Americans of an inconvenient truth: the country is far better off now than it was under the Joe Biden–Kamala Harris administration.
In a February 9 White House press release, the Trump-Vance administration outlined several reasons to feel optimistic about the present and future during this midterm election year. “While the Fake News and Radical Left collude to distract, depress, and divide, they’re simply lying to mask the undeniable truth: America is safer, stronger, richer, and more secure than at any point in decades. Don’t take the bait,” the White House urged.
Among these achievements is the growing adherence to the Trump administration’s prohibition on what has been labeled the “Barbaric Mutilation” of minors through what some consider “transgender” pseudo-science. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons has finally recognized that children should not undergo any body-altering “treatments” in pursuit of the illusion of sex change. Recently, Minnesota’s largest children’s hospital has joined other medical institutions in pausing the use of puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for kids.
Additionally, the border remains tightly secured, with no reports of illegal crossings along the southwest border for the ninth consecutive month. A federal appeals court has ruled in favor of the Trump administration regarding the detention of undocumented immigrants in a case where foreign nationals improperly claimed certain rights typically reserved for citizens.
And a Clinton-appointed federal judge just ruled that Gavin Newsom’s insane state of California can’t enforce its anti-mask law against ICE agents.
Even more, the White House noted:
In just the past week, ICE arrested 650 illegals in West Virginia — including a convicted child sex abuser, drug pushers, burglars, and fraudsters. Nationwide, ICE continues removing convicted murderers, terrorists, drug traffickers, sex offenders, child abusers, domestic abusers, money launderers, and scores of other dangerous criminal illegals. In Minnesota, Operation Metro Surge has already taken over 4,000 criminal illegals off the streets — and it’s not stopping.
This may be the single strongest argument Republicans carry into the midterm elections — and it’s backed by public opinion, not wishful thinking. According to Rasmussen Reports, nearly two-thirds of Americans support mass deportations. That’s not fringe. That’s the mainstream.
Pair that with the economic scoreboard, and the contrast becomes impossible to ignore. The Dow Jones Industrial Average blasting past 50,000 for the first time ever, alongside record highs from the S&P 500 and Nasdaq Composite, tells a story voters can see in their retirement accounts and investment statements.
This isn’t theory. It’s results:
National median rents have fallen to a four-year low following six consecutive monthly declines, while mortgage affordability has surged to a four-year high following President Trump’s bold action to make homeownership affordable again. PepsiCo announced price cuts of up to 15% on core brands.
The White House also spotlighted TrumpRx.gov, a new resource designed to help Americans find lower-cost prescription drugs — a practical move aimed squarely at easing everyday costs for families.
That said, no administration is above criticism. There’s room to go further: standing more firmly with Iranian protesters and Israel, refusing guidance from terror-sponsoring Qatar, ending the H-1B visa program, giving zero ground on ICE enforcement in sanctuary cities, and more aggressively dismantling the Deep State that resists elected authority at every turn.
But here’s the reality check: even with those areas for improvement, the country is far better off than it would be under Democratic control. Swap in Democrat leadership and you don’t get tweaks at the margins — you get exponential decline. Higher costs, weaker borders, softer foreign policy, and a bureaucracy emboldened to run the country regardless of who voters choose.
