New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani dropped the pretense on Friday, delivering a speech that openly framed modern mass migration through an explicitly religious lens. In remarks that stunned many listeners, Mamdani urged the public to look to the Prophet Muhammad as a model for what he described as positive “migration.”
Mamdani went further, arguing that Islam is a religion “built upon a narrative of migration,” pointing to the Hijrah as a moral and historical justification for contemporary migration policies.
If you have even a passing familiarity with the history of Islamic expansion, you immediately grasp how unhinged that framing is — which is precisely why it’s so revealing. This isn’t ignorance. It’s ideological audacity.

And while the argument is extreme, it’s hardly surprising given what a left-wing radical communist he is:

So what exactly is the Hijra? It refers to Muhammad’s migration from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD. And it didn’t happen because he was welcomed with open arms or embraced as a unifying figure. It happened because his message was rejected in Mecca, where many viewed it as destabilizing and threatening to the existing social order.
Medina, not fully grasping what would follow, allowed him to settle there. But even then, widespread acceptance didn’t magically materialize. When the time came to impose religious and political authority, significant portions of the local population resisted Muhammad.
What happened next was a jihad. Islamists, through a steady influx of Muslim migrants, resorted to enslavement and murder to seize control of Medina. To this day, the term “Hijra” is used to describe the strategic use of immigration to ultimately overwhelm and conquer non-Muslim territories.
This is likely why Mamdani references this concept, aware that many people may not grasp the true meaning behind his words. He skillfully promotes his troubling Islamist views while maintaining a friendly demeanor and engaging speaking style, all while the majority remain blissfully unaware of the deeper implications.
Don’t deceive yourself—this is the plan. It has always been the plan. It’s unfolding in Europe, Australia, and the United States. We’re already seeing its success in West Asia and parts of Africa, and if it gains enough traction, it could spread to South America as well. Islam employs migration as a strategy for conquest. In the 21st century, Muslim expansionists have realized they can achieve their objectives not only through acts of violence, but also by adopting a narrative of left-wing victimhood that positions them as oppressed individuals, using this to gain political influence.
The Western world is facing a stark choice. It can continue down the path of denial — watching institutions erode and norms collapse — or it can finally confront the reality of what unchecked political Islam looks like in practice.
This isn’t a matter of “racism,” because of course, Islam isn’t a race. Rather, it’s a violent, authoritarian political system masquerading as a religion and we have to treat it as such before it’s too late.
