Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) has spent months playing the predictable performative tough guy while trying to curry favor with the left-wing base. In the same breath he reflexively compares President Trump to Hitler, cracks snide jokes about Tesla stock “hurting” Elon Musk, and goes utterly unhinged by calling ICE Trump’s “modern-day Gestapo.” Meanwhile, chillingly, he seemed to all but wish rumors of the president’s death were true — even a year after two assassination attempts.
Even as the Department of Homeland Security increased its presence in Minnesota amid federal fraud investigations and the highly publicized enforcement actions in Minneapolis, Walz doubled down on incendiary rhetoric. He declared that his state was “at war with the federal government” and encouraged residents to harass and film ICE agents — labeling them “occupiers” in a disgraceful bid to rile up resistance.
All this while portraying himself as some kind of heroic martyr — abandoning his own reelection campaign so he can “focus on battling Trump.” It’s not leadership; it’s virtue signaling dressed up as politics.
Strangely—but tellingly—after a year of nonstop bluster, Walz has suddenly found his voice missing. Following Sunday’s vile invasion of a Minneapolis church by anti-ICE agitators, Walz has had absolutely nothing to say. No condemnation. No concern. Just silence.

And he’s not alone. Minneapolis’s Democrat mayor, Jacob Frey, has also gone quiet. The same officials who never miss an opportunity to lecture the public, inflame tensions, or demonize federal law enforcement apparently have no comment when a house of worship is overrun by radical activists:
Governor @GovTimWalz and Mayor @MayorFrey had active X accounts today. No mention so far of a church that was stormed in St. Paul today.

As you reflect on that, keep in mind Walz’s cautions regarding the ICE potentially interfering with “midnight mass services” during the holiday season—a disruption that ultimately did not occur:
Tim Walz was morally outraged over the holidays, warning that ICE would target church services.
“Because that’s who they are."
Surely Tim will be equally outraged by his far-left radicals storming a church service. pic.twitter.com/Tag65hN98f

A lot of us have been saying it for months now: the Democrats’ true colors are fully on display when it comes to ICE and CBP removing criminal illegal immigrants from the streets. Instead of applauding efforts that make communities safer, Democrats have chosen to stand shoulder to shoulder with the illegal immigrant population—openly prioritizing their “safety and security” over that of American citizens, something even Virginia Gov. Abigail Spanberger all but admitted over the weekend.
But this takes things to an entirely new and disturbing level.
Over the weekend, a Minneapolis church holding services was overtaken by fanatical open-borders activists—an invasion chillingly reminiscent of the way pro-abortion mobs stormed Catholic churches ahead of the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. Children were seen fleeing the church in fear.
And Tim Walz has said nothing. Not a word. That silence speaks volumes.
Had the roles been reversed—had ICE entered a church full of Hispanic congregants—Walz would already be sprinting to cameras and social media to inflame outrage. The press would be right behind him, amplifying every accusation and grievance. But that’s not what happened. This wasn’t law enforcement enforcing the law. This was a mob—anti-American activists steeped in the Democrats’ “by any means necessary” politics—disrupting a place of worship in service of their cause.
And when that happens? When the left does it? The outrage disappears. The principles vanish. Their leaders go mute.
This isn’t about justice or compassion. It’s about power, pandering, and tearing this country down brick by brick.
Walz’s silence on this is nothing short of disgusting complicity. If he mentions this at all at this point, it’ll be out of ‘official obligation,’ not because he really sees any problem with what happened. He, like every other left-wing Democrat (and aren’t they all ‘left-wing’ by now?) are telling us again who they really are. We ought to believe them.
