Democrats on the House Oversight Committee tried to manufacture a scandal on Friday, dumping a tiny handful of photos from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate — out of a staggering 95,000 images they reportedly possess. And what did they choose to highlight? Three completely benign, nothing-burger photos of President Trump, made to look suspicious only because Democrats slapped giant black boxes over the women’s faces, as if they uncovered some dark secret.
In reality, the images are harmless. But Democrats know that if you redact enough of a photo and scream “Epstein!” loudly enough, their media allies will dutifully run with whatever narrative they’re trying to build. It’s smoke-and-mirrors politics at its laziest — and its most transparent.
Democrat Rep. Robert Garcia (CA-42) declared that the release involved “disturbing photos” that “raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.”
His ridiculous post was followed up by an from Democratic colleague, Rep. Yassamin Ansari (AZ-3), which claimed one image in particular was “vile, disturbing” and raised questions about the President’s “knowledge of abuses at Epstein’s estate.”

‘Damning’ stuff, huh? They really ‘got’ Trump this time, didn’t they?
Uh, no. Not even close. It was just another bad clown show.
Politibunny over at Twitchy explained the intent. “Now, we admit, the big black scary boxes on the women’s faces make it seem like they’re protecting them because they’re children or minors,” she writes. “Democrats are such a-holes.”
Meanwhile, the New York Post just nuked the Democrats’ little narrative from orbit.
That supposedly “vile, disturbing” image Democrats dramatically released? The one they tried to weaponize with those big black censorship boxes? Turns out the unredacted version is exactly what most people already suspected: President Trump posing at Mar-a-Lago with adult women who were Hawaiian Tropic models. Yes — models for a suntan lotion brand. Not minors. Not anything illicit. Just a perfectly normal, perfectly benign photo from a public event decades ago.
And it gets even better. The Telegraph tracked down one of the women in the photo, and instead of delivering Democrats the scandal they were hoping for, she said the opposite. She described Trump as a total “gentleman” who went out of his way to make sure everyone felt welcome and had a good time.
“I was 22 years old and remember him being very nice. He was very gentlemanly, that’s the word to describe him,” she told the publication.

According to The Telegraph, the photo Democrats tried to spin into a scandal wasn’t just harmless — it was from 1998. And why was Trump photographed with Hawaiian Tropic models in 1998? Because he was a VIP guest at the Miss Hawaiian Tropic International Pageant. You know — back when Democrats still understood what a woman actually was.
It’s almost comical: Democrats pretended they had uncovered some dark revelation, only for basic context to show it was Trump doing something completely normal in the exact era he was famous for — beauty pageants, public events, photo ops. Nothing secret. Nothing shady. Nothing remotely connected to Epstein.
And in case that wasn’t enough to finish off their narrative, one of the reporters who broke the story added another inconvenient fact on X: the model in the now-infamous photo couldn’t recall seeing Ghislaine Maxwell or Jeffrey Epstein anywhere at the event.

Double negatives aside, Democrats’ latest Epstein narrative backfired — again — and it did so worse than Uncle Buck’s battered, smoke-belching 1977 Mercury Marquis Brougham. (And yes, if you get that reference, congratulations: you’re paying attention.) At this point, the backfiring isn’t an accident. It’s a pattern.
Earlier this month, Democrats kicked off their slow-drip Epstein “reveal” by rolling out so-called never-before-seen photos and videos from the predator’s private island — all heavily redacted, of course, because mystery sells. There was just one glaring problem: those images had absolutely been seen before. And not only that — they’d already been available unredacted.
This Democrat clown show regarding Jeffrey Epstein is getting beyond old, but what it does tell me is this: They’re doing all they can to pin something, anything on Trump and Republicans because, when all is said and done, it’s likely their party that will be most implicated, and it’ll go far beyond the letcherous Bill Clinton.
