However Bad You Thought Biden’s Border Policies Were – They Were Worse Than That

On Thursday, the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center dropped a bombshell in front of Congress: the Biden administration failed to stop more than 18,000 known or suspected terrorists from entering the United States.

Eighteen. Thousand.

That’s not a “challenge.” That’s not a “processing backlog.” That is a catastrophic, history-level national-security failure — the predictable outcome of an administration that treated border enforcement as an inconvenience and national security as an afterthought.

While testifying before Congress, Kent noted that his agency has “made significant progress under President Trump’s leadership” and has “the jihadis of ISIS and al-Qaeda on the run in Iraq and Syria.”

However, there is still “a persistent threat from the individuals that were allowed into this country by the previous administration,” he said.

Kent emphasized that the “number one threat that we have right now…is the fact that we don’t know who came into our country in the last four years of Biden’s open border orders.”

The director explained that his agency “has identified around 18,000 known and suspected terrorists that the Biden administration let come into our country” and that “these are individuals who, under normal circumstances, would never be allowed to enter our country because of their ties to jihad groups like ISIS and al-Qaeda.”

He then went on to savage the Biden regime, saying it didn’t only allow these individuals to cross the border, but also “facilitated their entry into the country.” The figures Kent mentioned pertained to the individuals identified as known or suspected terrorists who appeared on different watchlists or databases.

The numbers Kent relayed to Congress are beyond frightening. While Democrats spent four years calling Trump’s policies “cruel,” “xenophobic,” and “racist,” they opened the gates so wide that thousands of individuals flagged as threats simply walked into the country.

And now, we are supposed to pretend this wasn’t avoidable? That Biden’s refusal to secure the border had nothing to do with it?

This is what happens when ideology replaces common sense and wishful thinking replaces security. The American people deserve better — and under Trump, they’re finally getting leadership that understands the stakes.
