I’ll give Democrats this much: their linguistic gymnastics are truly undefeated. Watching them twist the English language into pretzels provides a clear window into the ideological madness that fuels modern liberalism. With every news cycle, they invent new ways to strip words of meaning and replace them with jargon so dishonest that only someone hitting the crack pipe could take it seriously.
It’s almost entertaining — if the consequences for the country weren’t so disastrous.
Operation Southern Spear is wiping out narco-terrorists in the Caribbean — exactly the kind of decisive action Americans were told for years was impossible. And yet Democrats are furious. Not furious about the cartels. Not furious about the human trafficking, fentanyl, or violence. No, they’re angry that the Trump administration is finally doing what they never had the spine to do.
Funny how they didn’t object when Barack Obama launched 500 drone strikes — killing civilians and even putting Americans on his kill list. Not a peep. No breathless op-eds. No sanctimonious MSNBC panels. No somber lectures about the “laws of war.”
But now? Suddenly this is an illegal shadow war straight out of Tom Clancy.
Spoiler: it’s not. These aren’t tourists on a cruise ship. These are armed narco-terrorists running cocaine and weapons — and posing a very real threat to U.S. national security.
And into this circus wanders Sen. Adam Schiff, who has decided to elevate the Democratic rhetorical meltdown by introducing a brand-new term for cartel members caught in the middle of their operations:
“Shipwrecked survivors.”

The Left has now christened this operation “boatgate,” apparently because blowing up a narco-terrorist vessel twice is, in their world, a scandal rather than a success. The first strike killed several terrorists and disabled the craft; the second finished the job and eliminated the rest. These weren’t innocent beachgoers — they were cartel operatives trying to signal for backup.
And despite the media hysterics, the strikes aren’t stopping. Even as “boatgate” dominated the news cycle, the Pentagon quietly vaporized another narco-boat last week. That’s what happens when an administration actually takes national security seriously.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth also noted a telling trend: far fewer narco boats are venturing out now. Hard to imagine why — maybe because every time they do, we turn them into ashtrays.
In other words, the mission is working. The only people upset about it are Democrats, cartel accountants, and the censured Democratic senator from California, Adam Schiff.
