NYC Mayor-Elect Mamdani Posts Insane Video Teaching Illegals How To Evade ICE

While most Americans spent their Sunday doing what normal people do — going to church, watching football, enjoying time with family — New York City’s next mayor decided his priority was… making a video instructing illegal immigrants on how to avoid being detained by federal law enforcement.

And in a move that absolutely no one finds surprising, Zohran Mamdani picked Pearl Harbor Day of all days to lecture Americans about how wrong our own laws are — and to side, yet again, with people who broke them. You couldn’t script a clearer example of how backwards the far-left leadership in New York has become.

In a video posted to social media, Mamdani appears genuinely outraged that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is doing its job and attempting to remove illegal immigrants from New York City’s streets. So he grabs a whiteboard and launches into a “helpful” tutorial — complete with a checklist — showing illegals how to dodge arrest and how to make as much noise and disruption as possible if they do end up in custody.

And naturally, the video comes captioned in both English and Spanish, as if Mamdani’s goal weren’t just defiance of federal law, but making sure the message spreads as widely as possible. It’s the perfect snapshot of a city whose incoming leadership seems more concerned with shielding lawbreakers than protecting law-abiding New Yorkers.

Know your rights. Protect your neighbors.

He said:

Last weekend, ICE attempted to raid Canal Street and detain our immigrant neighbors. As mayor, I’ll protect the rights of every single New Yorker, and that includes the more than 3 million immigrants who call this city their home. But, we can all stand up to ICE if you know your rights.

If you encounter ICE, these are the things that every New Yorker should know.

First, ICE cannot enter into private spaces, like your home, school, or private area of your workplace without a judicial warrant signed by a judge. Like this: [image of a search and seizure warrant]. If ICE doesn’t have a judicial warrant signed by a judge, you have the right to say, “I do not consent to entry,” and the right to keep your door closed.

Sometimes, ICE will show you paperwork that looks like this: [image of a warrant of removal/deportation], and tell you that they have the right to arrest you. That is false. ICE is legally allowed to lie to you, but you have the right to remain silent. If you’re being detained, you can always ask, “Am I free to go?” repeatedly until they answer you.

You are legally allowed to film ICE as long as you do not interfere with an arrest. It is important to remain calm in any interaction with ICE or law enforcement. Do not impede their investigation, resist arrest or run.

Saul Alinsky would be proud.

That Mamdani is openly defying the laws of the United States is hardly shocking. His rise in New York politics began the moment he tried to physically confront Tom Homan — and later vowed to “Trump-proof” New York City. He has always been loudly, proudly, and unapologetically anti-American. That part isn’t new.

What is troubling is that Mamdani still behaves like a candidate chasing clicks instead of a mayor-elect preparing to govern. This video isn’t leadership — it’s a campaign stunt, and it shows a man completely unprepared for the job he’s about to assume. He feeds off the applause of far-left New Yorkers who despise the country and despise Donald Trump just as much as he does. But that audience is the lowest of low-hanging fruit.

What happens when the rest of the city realizes Mamdani plans to put the interests of illegal immigrants above everything — and everyone — else?

For now, there’s no indication how this video is being received inside the Trump White House, which hosted the mayor-elect just two weeks ago. But one thing is certain:

Mamdani will be sworn in as New York City’s next mayor on January 1, 2026 — and he’s already signaling that his governing priorities are a direct threat to public safety, federal law, and the millions of residents he is supposed to serve.
