Border Czar Tom Homan has been handed a herculean task. Cleaning up four years of incompetence — and outright refusal to enforce immigration law — is the kind of job that would make even Hercules think twice. But Homan and the team backing him aren’t flinching. They’re doing the work.
And in his latest Fox News interview, Homan added another staggering statistic to the list of what this administration is actually accomplishing: more than 62,000 children rescued from captivity.
That’s not a talking point. That’s not a slogan. That’s lives saved — because, unlike the previous administration, the Trump team is enforcing the law, dismantling trafficking networks, and treating border security as a moral responsibility rather than a political inconvenience:

In a separate X post, he added:
Zero released in the last seven months. President Trump’s leadership has resulted in more than 62,400 missing children being found that the Biden administration released to un-vetted sponsors and lost. Some of these children were in sex trafficking and forced labor and being mistreated. President Trump saved their lives. God bless the men and women of HHS, ICE and FBI. They will not stop until we run down every lead on every missing child. President Trump proves everyday why he is the greatest President in my lifetime.

The contrast couldn’t be clearer. Under Biden, with an empty chair at the top and shadowy decision-makers running the show, the administration seemed determined to let everyone in — legally, illegally, it didn’t matter. For years, there were warnings about children disappearing into the system, yet during Biden’s tenure (or whoever was really pushing the buttons), virtually nothing was done.
Now, with real enforcement back in place, those children are being found. And in many cases, as Tom Homan himself pointed out, what these kids endured is so horrific he won’t even describe it on air. That silence says more than any press conference ever could.
This — this — is the legacy of Joe Biden’s presidency. And it’s not at all clear the damage done by the man who merely played the part of the 46th president can ever be fully undone. But at least this administration is trying.
If you’re a Democrat, of course, there’s always an excuse for not trying — usually several. For everyone else, doing the right thing for all Americans like securing our border isn’t optional.
