Did This Democratic Senator Just Call For the Military To Stage A Coup Against Trump?

Democrats are becoming more and more unhinged as President Donald Trump’s second term progresses, and quite frankly, more than a few of them are dangerously close to not only violating their constitutional oaths, but also violating the letter of the law. Sen. Mark Warner (D-Va.) is the latest to push the limits of what he can and cannot say or do as a sitting member of Congress.

Warner (D-VA) used his appearance on MS NOW’s “Morning Joe” to float what amounted to a call for a military coup against Trump.

It’s the latest and most alarming escalation in what many are now describing as the Democratic Party’s attempted “color revolution” — a coordinated effort to delegitimize, undermine, and ultimately remove a president who was duly elected by the American people barely a year ago.

“Unprecedented disrespect when they were all brought to get a pep rally in front of Hegseth and Trump,” Warner began, likely referring to a September meeting in which Hegseth told military leaders the era of woke under Biden was over – but never stating exactly was wrong or unconstitutional or illegal about that meeting (because there wasn’t any violation – Democrats just didn’t like it).

“This is an administration that has fired uniformed generals from the head of the NSA, the head of the defense intelligence agency,” Warner continued – without stating that presidents, as commanders-in-chief, have every right and authority to do so because these officers serve at the president’s pleasure.

“I think, in many ways, the uniformed military may help save us from this President, and his lame people like Hegseth, because I think they’re commitment is to the Constitution and obviously not to Trump, and I expect Bradley to adhere to that,” he said, which essentially was “military coup” gaslighting.

Folks on social media saw exactly what Warner was doing. “They were doing this all through his first term, too,” wrote one user. “It goes on because Republicans let it go on.”

He has no proof of this, and Leader Thune and Speaker Mike Johnson need to start holding these Democrats accountable.

Another user said the obvious: “If we continue NOT prosecuting treason and sedition, more of this treason and sedition will continue. It’s that simple. All military vets understand EXACTLY how dangerous this shit is. Hesitation on mission and a breakdown in the chain of command get people killed.”

They only require one or two individuals to pay attention to them. They are conveying messages to the minority who might not be in favor of President Trump. It’s seriously time for Republicans in Congress to hold these Democrats accountable. This isn’t ‘debate and speech clause’ stuff. It’s sedition at least and treason at worst.
