Trump Provides Big Update On His Immigration Pause and Democrats Will Hate It

During a press gaggle on Air Force One Sunday night, President Trump was clear about his “permanent pause” on immigration from all third-world nations, stating that this measure effectively has no end date – not something ‘Great Replacement’ Democrats were wanting to hear.

Following the terrorist attack on two National Guard members in Washington, D.C., Trump made a passionate announcement last week, indicating a major enforcement of immigration restrictions from dangerous or crime-infested countries.

The assailant, 29-year-old Afghan national Rahmanullah Lakanwal, fatally shot 20-year-old Sarah Beckstrom and left 24-year-old Andrew Wolfe in critical condition. Lakanwal entered the United States in 2021 as part of President Biden’s “Operation Allies Welcome” after the chaotic U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

When asked by a reporter about the duration of the immigration pause, Trump’s response was straightforward: there is no timeframe. “No time limit, but it could be a long time,” the President stated. “We don’t want those people, do you understand that?”

“You know why we don’t want them?” he continued. “Because many of them are no good, and they shouldn’t be in our country.”

Here’s the audio of the exchange:

Trump went on to spell out exactly what he meant by “those people,” a phrase the media will no doubt seize on and twist into yet another race-obsessed narrative because that’s all they focus on (it’s to divide us, by the way).

“From different countries that are not friendly to us and countries that are out of control themselves. Countries like Somalia that have virtually no government, no military, no police—all they do is go around killing each other,” the president said. “Then they come into our country and tell us how to run our country. We don’t want them.”

In the same breath as his response to the Afghan national’s terrorist attack, Trump tore into the Temporary Protected Status program for the thousands of Somali nationals living in Minnesota — a program now under fresh scrutiny after revelations that massive taxpayer-funded fraud may have helped bankroll the al-Shabaab terror group.

Trump didn’t stop there. He also told reporters he would “absolutely” pursue denaturalization for criminal U.S. citizens who gamed the system to obtain citizenship — a move he framed as overdue in a country increasingly forced to deal with the worst actors imported from failed states abroad.

“We have criminals that came into our country, and they were naturalized maybe through Biden or somebody that didn’t know what they were doing,” Trump said. “If I have the power to do it—I’m not sure that I do, but if I do—I would denaturalize, absolutely.”

This is a line in the sand, no question. Americans are watching their own communities buckle under the weight of violent offenders and foreign nationals who show open contempt for the country that took them in. At some point, a nation has to decide whether it wants to protect its citizens or continue pretending that every problem can be solved with leniency and wishful thinking.

The message here from Trump is simple: shut the door, secure it, and start removing those who abused this country’s generosity. That’s a win-win for MAGA and for America.
