The New York Times published an article stating that President Donald Trump appeared to be exhibiting signs of “fatigue,” noting a decrease in the frequency of events he was participating in compared to the initial year of his first term, and that Americans were encountering him “less frequently than before.”
This is complete nonsense. Trump has been working nonstop since the moment his second term began, and he’s constantly out front answering questions from the press. If anything, he’s too available — the man insists on speaking directly to the American people when he could just as easily hand things off to his very capable communications team.
The idea that he’s somehow “fatigued” is laughable, especially coming from the same Democrats and media outlets who spent years pretending not to notice the very real, very obvious problems with Joe Biden. They refused to look under the hood when it actually mattered — but now they’re suddenly worried about Trump’s energy levels?
Surprisingly, even MS NOW host Katy Tur opposed that report during her appearance on “The Daily Beast Podcast” with host Joanna Coles:

“I think, not to get on the bandwagon and to push back a little bit, he is doing much more than, certainly Joe Biden did,” Tur said, in a clip flagged by Mediaite.
“He is out there in a way that past presidents haven’t even been out there. He does give access. He’s constantly on television,” Tur added. “He might be slowing down for him and slowing down because he’s getting up there in age, but he is still very much mobile. I mean, he’s doing overseas travel. He’s coming back, he’s handing out Halloween candy. Sometimes these trips are one day. I mean, he is very much still engaged.”
Exactly right — people forget how much Trump packs into a single day. He was literally cutting deals in Asia to bring investment and jobs back to the United States, then turned around and flew home the same day to hand out Halloween candy at the White House. That’s the schedule of someone operating at full throttle, not someone “fatigued.”
Compare that to Biden, who often had one event on the calendar — if that — and still managed to accomplish nothing of value. His team spent more time shielding him from reporters, calling early lids, and trying to keep him from wandering off than actually running the country. Under Biden, the bar was set so low that simply showing up counted as a success.
And while Trump is receiving awards and being nominated for Nobel Prizes by foreign governments, Biden was making headlines for “losing focus” in meetings and skipping out on official dinners.
Tur not only defended Trump, but she also described a negative moment she witnessed involving Biden:
“I went to the Christmas party, during the Biden years, and he came out at like eight o’clock, and he gave a speech to the assembled room of journalists, and you could not understand a word he was saying, right,” Tur said. “It’s different.”
You’re absolutely right it’s different — this is competence versus incompetence, engagement versus cognitive decline.
And now suddenly this story about Biden being incoherent comes out? When did she ever mention this before? Where was this revelation when it actually mattered? It’s awfully convenient that they’re willing to talk about it now, when it has zero political cost. But if you can’t even understand what the sitting president is saying, that’s not some minor anecdote — that’s a flashing red alarm.
This is exactly the problem with the entire “Trump fatigue” narrative being pushed by Democrats and their media allies. We see Trump constantly. He’s out front, talking, answering questions, holding meetings — whatever else they want to accuse him of, he certainly doesn’t have Biden’s mental fog.
Meanwhile, where was any serious accounting of Biden’s daily activities while he was in office? Where was the honesty about how limited he was? Every concerning clip, every verbal stumble, every vacant stare was brushed off or memory-holed as “cheap fakes,” even when the evidence was right in front of us.
Now they want to pretend the problems didn’t exist until after the fact — and hope no one notices.
