It’s another day ending in “y,” which means yet another liberal news outlet is breathlessly pushing a story about supposed “turmoil” inside the Trump administration — and once again, the White House has had to swat it down as the same old recycled fake news.
The most recent garbage comes from MS NOW, previously known as MSNBC, which stated that FBI Director Kash Patel was allegedly planning to leave. It read, “President Trump is considering removing Kash Patel as FBI director in the coming months, as he and his top aides have grown increasingly frustrated by the unflattering headlines Patel has recently generated.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt came across the article and devised a really clever way to reply – with a smiling picture of the two men, which has since gained widespread attention:
This story is completely made up.
In fact, when this Fake News published, I was in the Oval Office, where President Trump was meeting with his law enforcement team, including FBI Director Kash Patel.
I read the headline to the President and he laughed. He said: “What? That’s totally false. Come on Kash, let’s take a picture to show them you’re doing a great job!”
Do not believe the Fake News!

Leavitt’s post featured a great photo of President Trump and Patel standing together in the Oval Office, both sporting huge grins and giving a thumbs-up — classic Trump confidence. The latest round of “fake news” comes only days after the White House had to bat down yet another CNN fantasy claiming a sweeping Cabinet shake-up was imminent as Trump approaches the one-year mark of his second term:
This story is 100% Fake News, and the White House repeatedly told this to CNN in the strongest possible terms. Yet they still wrote the story because their ratings are dying so they thrive off drama that does not exist.
The truth is: President Trump could not be happier with his Cabinet.
Shame on you, @CNN.

Good for Trump and his team for shutting down these garbage “reports” with a little humor. Sometimes a single picture lands harder than any press statement — and this was one of those moments.
