You’ve seen the videos by now: a parade of Democrats practically begging U.S. service members to ignore “unlawful orders” from President Donald J. Trump.
It’s unbelievable — and yet somehow completely predictable. What exactly is this supposed to be besides another mass-hysteria Trump Derangement meltdown that makes the Left look unhinged? It’s absurd. It’s bonkers. It’s the latest example of liberals being so consumed by their own hysterics that they’ve lost all awareness of what they’re actually saying.
First of all, what unlawful orders? Has the president issued any? If so, no one can identify a single one — not even CNN, and if they can’t run with the narrative, that tells you everything you need to know. When the hosts of one of the most aggressively anti-Trump networks in the country can’t figure out what this is supposed to be about, neither can anyone outside the Beltway.
And here’s the kicker: Democrats pushing this stunt crumble the second they’re asked to name even one “illegal order” that’s actually been issued. They can’t do it. They signed onto this clown-show fearmongering, then wilt the moment anyone asks them to produce specifics:

Sure, this whole spectacle probably made a few liberals feel warm and fuzzy inside, but it accomplished absolutely nothing. This isn’t going to be some defining issue of the 2026 elections. It’ll vanish within a week — remembered only as yet another bizarre, anti-Trump messaging stunt that Democrats managed to botch spectacularly.
But they have to churn out this stuff to keep their base pacified. And let’s not forget: the Democratic National Committee is running on fumes financially — they literally just took out a $15 million loan to stay afloat.
Maybe this latest bout of political bath-salt theater will shake a few more dollars loose. Beyond that, these Democrats are brushing up oh-so-close to the line of sedition. Maybe the DOJ should look into it.
