On Wednesday morning, the House Oversight Committee released a massive cache of 20,000 documents obtained from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate — and, right on cue, Democrats wasted no time twisting the story for political gain. Within hours, they latched onto three emails — one of which has already been public for quite some time — and tried to spin them into yet another smear campaign against President Donald Trump.
Of course, this little stunt was nothing more than a desperate attempt to calm their angry base — the same base still fuming over the Democrats’ total collapse during the Schumer Shutdown.
Now, their media allies are doing what they always do: breathlessly labeling these recycled emails as “bombshell” revelations. But the truth is, there’s nothing new here. All this episode really exposes is how panicked and pathetic the Democrats have become, and how far they’re willing to sink to distract from their own failures:
?BREAKING: Oversight Dems have received new emails from Jeffrey Epstein’s estate that raise serious questions about Donald Trump and his knowledge of Epstein’s horrific crimes.
Read them for yourself. It’s time to end this cover-up and RELEASE THE FILES. pic.twitter.com/A5XgOHj2Jq

In a 2011 email exchange with Ghislane Maxwell, Epstein said:
I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump…[REDACTED VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him,, he has never once been mentioned. police chief, etc. i’m 75% there
Then Maxwell responded: “I have been thinking about that.”
Democrats conveniently redacted the name of the victim in those documents — and there’s only one reason for that: the victim is Virginia Giuffre.
Giuffre’s own sworn deposition makes it crystal clear that President Trump never so much as flirted with her. She testified that she met Trump at Mar-a-Lago through her father and that, despite Epstein bragging that Trump was a “good friend,” she never once saw the two men in the same room.
In other words, the Democrats’ so-called “bombshell” isn’t just misleading — it’s a deliberate smear built on half-truths and redactions designed to twist the story:
These Epstein/Maxwell emails reference Virginia Giuffre.
Giuffre's testimony contradicts them:
She never saw Trump and Epstein together.
Trump never acted inappropriately towards her (no sex and no flirting).
She was never at Epstein's house with Trump. https://t.co/obTvvQbh8g pic.twitter.com/zOQRQHep7r

In her memoir, “Nobody’s Girl,” published posthumously in April 2025, she stated that Trump assisted her in earning extra money as a babysitter for families renting homes at the Mar-a-Lago estate. She added, “Trump couldn’t have been friendlier, telling me it was fantastic that I was there.”
The other two emails in question are between Jeffrey Epstein and none other than disgraced Daily Beast journalist Michael Wolff — the same guy whose credibility crumbled after his outlet was forced to retract a July story falsely claiming that a modeling agent linked to Epstein had introduced Melania and Donald Trump. Wolff’s been obsessed with taking down Trump for years, and he’s never let facts get in the way of that mission.
One of the emails, from 2015 — right as Trump was launching his presidential campaign — shows Wolff reaching out to Epstein, warning him that CNN planned to ask Trump on-air about his supposed connection to Epstein.
Epstein replied asking, “If we were able to craft an answer for him, what do you think it should be?” Wolff told Epstein to “let [Trump] hang himself,” before speculating on ways that Epstein could help himself.
Then, on January 31, 2019 — just months before Epstein’s final arrest — Epstein emailed Michael Wolff again, mentioning Virginia Giuffre and Mar-a-Lago. Parts of the message were redacted, but what remains is telling: Epstein stated plainly that Trump had never asked him to resign from the Mar-a-Lago Club because he was never a member to begin with.
Then Epstein says, “Of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
So what exactly was Trump supposed to “know” about the girls? Let’s stick to the facts. Trump was the one who kicked Epstein out of Mar-a-Lago — full stop. Previous reports indicated Epstein was banned after he allegedly harassed a member’s teenage daughter at the club.
And when Trump was asked about it aboard Air Force One in July 2025, he explained that Epstein had also been poaching employees — specifically, young women who worked in the club’s spa:
“People were taken out of the spa — hired by him — in other words, gone. And other people would come and complain, ‘This guy is taking people from the spa.'” “I didn’t know that. And then when I heard about it, I told him, I said, ‘Listen, we don’t want you taking our people, whether it was spa or not spa, I don’t want them taking people.’ And he was fine. And then not too long after that, he did it again. And I said, ‘Out of here.'”
When Epstein claimed that Trump told Ghislaine Maxwell to “stop,” it’s unclear what exactly he was referring to — whether Trump was warning her to stop recruiting his employees or to stop whatever she was doing involving those girls. But here’s the bottom line: there’s nothing wrong with either of those scenarios.
In fact, if Trump had even an inkling that Epstein’s behavior went beyond being just a sleazy older man and told them to knock it off, that’s not a scandal — that’s commendable. It shows he did what decent people do: he drew a line and said, enough.
Needless to say, Trump responded to this latest Democrat ‘gotcha’ nothingburger online:

Trump wrote:
The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again because they’ll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they’ve done on the Shutdown, and so many other subjects. Only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap. The Democrats cost our Country $1.5 Trillion Dollars with their recent antics of viciously closing our Country, while at the same time putting many at risk — and they should pay a fair price. There should be no deflections to Epstein or anything else, and any Republicans involved should be focused only on opening up our Country, and fixing the massive damage caused by the Democrats!
He followed that post up with this:
In other words, the Democrats are using the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax to try and deflect from their massive failures, in particular, their most recent one — THE SHUTDOWN!
Of course, none of that will matter to the clapping seals on the Left — they’re already performing right on cue, doing exactly what they’re trained to do. Facts don’t matter, truth doesn’t matter, only the narrative does.
But here’s the irony: this latest Democrat stunt is actually having the opposite effect. Instead of hurting Trump, it’s uniting his base — even the segment that wasn’t thrilled with some of the positions he discussed during his two-part interview with Laura Ingraham this week.
What a party.
