It’s Done: Trump Issues Pardons For Slew Of Folks Victimized By Biden’s DOJ

The big story dominating the weekend was the long-overdue possible end to the disastrous and entirely performative Schumer Shutdown — a self-inflicted crisis that’s done nothing but sow chaos, hurt working Americans, and expose just how reckless and unserious Democrats have become when it comes to governing.

Meanwhile, California Gov. Gavin Newsom has been strutting around like a peacock, leading a chorus of gloating Democrats who think that passing his gerrymandering, state-constitution-shredding Prop. 50 — combined with their wins in New York City, Virginia, and New Jersey — means they’ve suddenly reclaimed the reins of power.

President Donald Trump just reminded them how wrong they are — and that he’s still the one running the show.

And he did it in the most Trumpian way possible: by issuing a wave of pardons that sent the Left into an absolute meltdown. Among those pardoned were Rudy Giuliani, Mark Meadows, and other allies who had been relentlessly hunted by the Biden DOJ over their supposed “election interference” efforts in 2020.

In one stroke, Trump flipped the script, turning years of Democrat lawfare into dust — and proving once again that he plays political chess while his opponents are still fumbling with checkers:

President Donald Trump issued a sweeping pardon to key figures allegedly involved in the plan to arrange an alternate slate of electors and “expose voting fraud” during the 2020 election, according to U.S. Pardon Attorney Ed Martin.

Trump pardoned high-profile individuals allegedly involved in his attempt to overturn the election, including Rudy Giuliani, Sidney Powell, Boris Epshteyn, John Eastman and Mark Meadows — and 72 other individuals allegedly associated with the effort to challenge the 2020 election results.

I’m grabbing earplugs now, because the wailing and gnashing of teeth from the Left is about to hit unbearable decibel levels. But let’s be honest — what moral high ground do they think they’re standing on here?

Joe Biden literally used an autopen to mass-pardon a slew of political allies and convicted cronies in the final days of his presidency — and then personally pardoned his own son Hunter, after swearing for months that he’d “never interfere” in the case.

So spare us the outrage, Democrats. The selective indignation act doesn’t play anymore:

The pardon, which Trump appears to have signed on Friday, covers each of the president’s co-defendants who were charged in Georgia for a sweeping scheme to overturn election results.

The pardon list notably does not include Trump himself — a fact that only adds to the intrigue.

What remains to be seen is how this bold move ripples through Washington. Will it light a fire under Democrats already scrambling to save face over the Schumer Shutdown? Or will it harden GOP resolve as Trump reminds everyone who’s actually calling the shots?

Either way, buckle up. The political rollercoaster isn’t slowing down anytime soon — and if you thought things were bumpy before, you haven’t seen anything yet.
