Former President Joe Biden resurfaced Friday night at the Democratic Party’s “Ben Nelson Gala” in Omaha, Nebraska, declaring that the Democratic Party was “back.” What followed was a familiar routine — a string of tall tales that would make Pinocchio blush.
Biden bragged that under his presidency, wages were rising and inflation was falling — a claim that would be laughable if it weren’t so insulting to every American who’s been crushed by soaring prices and shrinking paychecks. In classic Biden fashion, he tried to rewrite history, pretending the economic disaster he created was some kind of success story.
In reality, wages weren’t up under Biden — they were swallowed whole by the worst inflation in decades, which spiked to 9 percent on his watch. And that supposed “respect of the world” he keeps bragging about? Please. Foreign leaders aren’t nominating him for Nobel Prizes — they’re the ones guiding him offstage and whispering his lines when he forgets where he is.
True to form, Biden stumbled through his remarks, mixing up “president” and “presidency,” before launching into a tired attack on Donald Trump. He accused Trump of taking a “wrecking ball” to the White House and the Constitution — as if the man who turned America into a global punchline and wrecked our economy has any credibility lecturing anyone about destruction.
“It’s a perfect symbol of his presidency,” he claimed. “Trump has taken a wrecking ball not only to the people’s house but to the Constitution, to the rule of law, to our very democracy.”
But the lying lies weren’t what got people buzzing; it was the big bandage on the back of his head. Back in August, Biden showed up with a large bandage on his forehead — which the White House later chalked up to skin cancer treatment.
Another head injury? What's really wrong with Joe Biden, and for how long? https://t.co/WaPWaafkc8

Now he’s sporting another one, and so far, there’s been radio silence from his team.
Anyway, they really need to let Biden stay home and stop putting him in front of a microphone. Every time he speaks, it’s a train wreck waiting to happen. I’ve said it before, but it bears repeating — we’re unbelievably fortunate that Trump won and not this guy or Kamala Harris. Can you imagine another four years of this confusion and chaos? The country couldn’t take it.
