There’s just something special about conservative guys from Louisiana — they don’t just talk the talk, they bring Southern charm and common sense to a town that’s drowning in nonsense.
Take Sen. John Kennedy, for example. The man’s a national treasure. His quick wit, sharp wisdom, and no-nonsense style cut through D.C. spin like a hot knife through butter. Whether he’s dismantling some clueless bureaucrat in a hearing or reminding Democrats to fill out a “Hurt Feelings Report,” Kennedy delivers truth with a grin — and it’s glorious to watch.
And then there’s House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA), who’s been an absolute machine throughout the Schumer Shutdown. Day after day, he’s been taking a wrecking ball to Democrat talking points, exposing how this entire mess exists because Democrats are shackled to their far-left base — a base now effectively led by New York City’s radical mayor-elect, Zohran Mamdani.
Johnson’s clear, disciplined messaging has been a masterclass in conservative leadership. While Democrats scramble to defend socialist overreach (Zohran Mamdani comes to mind), Johnson keeps hammering home the truth: this crisis is 100% made by the Left.
Because Democrats are nothing if not predictable, the political theater outside Speaker Mike Johnson’s office has become a daily spectacle. Take, for instance, the mid-October stunt when Rep. Nanette Barragán (D-CA) falsely claimed a Capitol Police officer “forcibly grabbed” her — conveniently leaving out the part where she was tearing down signs and trying to barge into the Speaker’s office.
And now comes the latest act in the circus: Rep. Yassamin Ansari (D-AZ) set up a “change my mind” table just a few feet from Johnson’s door on Thursday, hurling wild accusations that he’s “starving millions” and “gutting healthcare.” As if that weren’t enough, she even suggested he’s blocking Rep.-Elect Adelita Grijalva (D-AZ) from being seated to cover up something to do with the Epstein files.
Insane:
I'm here outside @SpeakerJohnson’s office because he is starving families and gutting health care to cover up the Epstein Files.

In a perfectly hilarious move, Johnson’s office clapped back by simply turning up the volume on the TV that’s been parked outside his door for weeks — the one playing a nonstop loop of Democrat Whip Katherine Clark’s now-infamous “leverage” quote.
You’ve got to love it:
And now @SpeakerJohnson’s team has turned up the volume on the TV behind @RepYassAnsari — it’s blaring bites of Democrats that the GOP think help them.
She is indeed hard to hear now. (Can’t speak to any mic she is wearing.)

Unfortunately for Ansari, her little stunt didn’t go quite as planned. The “change my mind” table was promptly hauled away, most likely by unpaid staffers, leaving her awkwardly standing there clutching her sign like a college protester who missed the memo.
Meanwhile, Ansari’s still cashing her taxpayer-funded congressional paycheck.
ohnson’s office wasted no time capitalizing on the moment, firing back by blasting Chuck Schumer’s smug “every day gets better for us” quote right back at Ansari:
Speaker Johnson’s office is not only aware of this — his creative/digital aide @_mschellin has trolled @RepYassAnsari’s political play https://t.co/e4zw0eGgAE https://t.co/qWO4RGD7a1 pic.twitter.com/pXgL0keZ4q

Oh, and of course, there’s this inconvenient fact: Ansari also voted against the funding bill to reopen the government (like most of her Democrat brothers and sisters in the Senate):

This woman appears to be several straws short of a full hay bale. Change my mind.
