As more details emerge about the Biden administration’s “Arctic Frost” operation targeting Donald Trump and the broader conservative movement, one thing is crystal clear: arrests and impeachments aren’t enough. The American people deserve full transparency — and that means public congressional hearings, some of them in prime time, for everyone to see.
No more filtered narratives from the usual suspects at ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN. It’s time to expose exactly what happened, who authorized it, and how deep the rot goes.
Sen. Eric Schmitt (R-MO) called for such hearings in an appearance on Fox News Channel’s Sunday Briefing, outling what happened:
“What happened was, three days after President Trump announced he was running for president, the entirety of government and the Justice Department was weaponized against him to bankrupt him and his family and put him in jail for the rest of his life.
“So, what happened?
“In Atlanta, a state case was created to go after President Trump. The number 2 person in that case met with the White House.
“Alvin Bragg in New York began his criminal trial against President Trump, and the number 3 person left DOJ to go join Alvin Bragg’s office.
“Then, of course, you have Jack Smith, who’s notorious in prosecutor circles as the henchman you assign to go get your person, the ‘Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime’ kind of prosecutor. He’s a total dirtbag. Brings this case against President Trump.
“It wasn’t just a war against a man, Peter; it was against the movement.”
As Sen. Eric Schmitt rightly pointed out, this isn’t just about Donald Trump — the DOJ’s war was aimed squarely at the entire conservative movement. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) revealed Wednesday that Special Counsel Jack Smith issued a staggering 197 subpoenas as part of the “Arctic Frost” operation, sweeping up more than 400 Republican organizations, including Turning Point USA and the Republican Attorneys General Association.
The dragnet targeted 92 Republican individuals and groups — among them eight sitting senators and one member of Congress. This wasn’t an investigation; it was a political purge disguised as law enforcement.
Schmitt reminded Americans that the only reason we know anything about “Arctic Frost” is thanks to brave whistleblowers who risked everything to come forward. And according to him, what’s been exposed so far is just the tip of the iceberg. There’s far more to uncover — and that’s exactly why this investigation must not only continue but be brought fully into the open.
“We need Watergate-style hearings for months on this to continue that investigation. There ought to be probably charges brought eventually, resignations,” he told Fox.
If Democrats — and their so-called “Republican” enablers like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger — can stage prime-time circus hearings over January 6, then Republicans have every right to hold public hearings on this massive, coordinated conspiracy orchestrated by the Biden White House.
At the center of it all sits U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, a key player in the scheme. And as Schmitt made clear, there should be real consequences for him, too. Accountability isn’t optional when the integrity of our justice system has been twisted into a political weapon:
“And one final point: Judge Boasberg, who’s become notorious from the FISA courts, also making a speech trying to thwart President Trump’s agenda before President Trump got in, and then of course somehow ending up with all these cases in the DC area, even though he wasn’t the assignment judge, actually wrote in an attachment to these subpoenas to the telecommunications companies that you are not, you can’t tell Senator Cruz, you can’t tell these other senators that the subpoena was out there because they would destroy evidence.
“That’s just beyond the pale. And I think impeachment proceedings should begin in the House of Representatives.”
We are just starting to uncover the unprecedented ways the federal government and the Justice Department was weaponized against President Trump & conservatives.
