White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller absolutely torched Robert De Niro on Wednesday, firing back after the aging actor called him a “Nazi” during an MSNBC appearance over the weekend. Miller didn’t hold back, describing De Niro as a “sad, bitter, broken old man” — a once-great performer now reduced to hurling slurs on cable news to stay relevant.
“He has not made a movie worth watching in at least 30 years. Probably the longest string of flops. Failures, embarrassments,” Miller said on “Hannity.” “This man has been degrading himself on camera with one horrific film after another for my entire adult life, and he’s not taken seriously by anybody, not by his family, not by friends, not his community.”
“He’s a shell of a man, and everyone disregards everything he says,” Miller continued.
De Niro made his remarks Sunday on MSNBC’s The Weekend, where he lumped his attack on Stephen Miller in with a broader tirade against the entire Trump administration. The aging actor once again dusted off his go-to routine — unhinged rants and wild conspiracy theories — this time claiming that President Trump would somehow try to secure a third term in office.
“He will not want to leave. He set it up with… I guess he’s the Goebbels of the Cabinet, Stephen Miller. He’s a Nazi,” the longtime Trump critic said, comparing Miller to the Nazi’s chief propagandist. “And he’s Jewish, so he should be ashamed of himself.”
? UPDATE: Conservatives are demanding a retraction from Hollywood liberal Robert De Niro for claiming “Stephen Miller is a Nazi.”
“Yes, he is. And he’s Jewish. He should be ASHAMED of himself.”
This is the kind of rhetoric that incites violence.

This latest outburst comes against the backdrop of a broader and dangerous trend — the nonstop demonization of Republicans and conservatives by high-profile Democrats and their allies. The casual use of Nazi comparisons has become the Left’s go-to smear, and it’s not just dishonest — it’s deadly.
Many are now demanding an end to this kind of rhetoric, pointing out that it’s helped fuel a wave of political violence across the country, culminating in the tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk last month. When Democrats and their celebrity mouthpieces constantly paint their opponents as evil, they shouldn’t be shocked when unhinged followers start taking them literally.
The time for moral accountability on the Left is long overdue. But in the meantime, De Niro just got his butt handed to him by Miller.
