UH-OH: Who’s Living In Letitia James’ Alleged Mortgage Fraud Just Made Her Case WORSE

With New York Attorney General Letitia James now staring down federal mortgage fraud charges, the hypocrisy is almost too rich to believe.

James — who made a career out of boasting that she’d “take down” Donald Trump and proudly turned the justice system into her personal political weapon — now finds herself accused of the very kind of corruption she claimed to be fighting.

According to prosecutors, James lied on her mortgage application for a Virginia home to score a lower interest rate. She allegedly claimed the property was a “second residence,” which comes with strict owner-occupancy rules and limits on when it can be rented. Instead, she reportedly began renting it out right away — a move that would have triggered a higher interest rate if she’d been honest on the paperwork.

So who’s actually living in the house? If you only read The New York Times, you’d think it was just a “grandniece who needed tranquillity.” But according to new reports, that so-called grandniece is actually a fugitive from justice — wanted in North Carolina on serious criminal charges.

Is the attorney general of New York — who’s already facing federal criminal charges — actually harboring a fugitive in the very house she allegedly obtained through mortgage fraud? Because that’s exactly what it looks like. And the fact that the person in question is a family member, not some stranger off the street, only makes it worse.

Are we really supposed to believe that Letitia James had no idea her grandniece was wanted in North Carolina on serious charges? That kind of information doesn’t just slip through the cracks — it would’ve shown up on any basic background check. But then again, it appears James didn’t bother with one, since she allegedly violated her mortgage terms to rent the property to a relative.

The New York Times spun it as James simply offering “tranquility” to her grandniece. Tranquility? Try criminal liability. You can’t make this stuff up — real life under Democratic “leadership” is stranger than fiction.

Remember this, Letitia??

When powerful people cheat to get better loans, it comes at the expense of hardworking people.

Everyday Americans cannot lie to a bank to get a mortgage, and if they did, our government would throw the book at them.

There simply cannot be different rules for different people.

“Shameless” doesn’t even begin to describe it. Letitia James has taken political hypocrisy to a level that would make even the most jaded observer blush. And while I have serious doubts that a Norfolk, Virginia jury — given the area’s political makeup — would ever convict her, that doesn’t mean prosecutors shouldn’t try. The law still matters, even if Democrats think it doesn’t.

And let’s not forget — this Virginia home isn’t some one-off mistake. It’s just one chapter in a long pattern of alleged mortgage fraud spanning decades. James has reportedly misrepresented the number of units in a rental property to secure better loan terms and even, incredibly, claimed her father was her husband on a mortgage application.

This isn’t the behavior of someone who “misspoke” or “made an error.” It’s a pattern — one that reveals a politician who built her career preaching accountability while allegedly lying her way through the very system she was sworn to uphold.
