oday, President Trump delivered a historic address before Israel’s Knesset, celebrating the peace agreement that ended the war in Gaza and secured the release of the remaining hostages. It was the Trump administration that forged the path to peace through the Abraham Accords, normalizing relations between Israel and several Arab nations — something global leaders had long failed to accomplish. In fact, many of them, by pushing recognition of a Palestinian state, actively undermined the prospects for lasting peace.
By contrast, under President Biden, virtually no progress was made on freeing hostages or advancing stability in the region.
That’s why it’s the height of absurdity for former Secretary of State Antony Blinken to now try to claim credit for Trump’s success. The facts speak for themselves — this peace deal was made possible by Trump’s leadership, not Biden’s ‘diplomacy.’
Former Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Gaza peace deal:
"It’s good that President Trump adopted and built on the plan the Biden Administration developed."

Blinken wrote, “It starts with a clear and comprehensive post conflict plan for Gaza. It’s good that President Trump adopted and built on the plan the Biden Administration developed after months of discussion with Arab partners, Israel and the Palestinian Authority. It centers on temporary, transitional authorities for Gaza’s governance, security, humanitarian assistance, and rebuilding, led by Arab and international partners alongside Palestinians, backed by the United States, and ultimately handed over to full Palestinian control.”
None of that highlighted text is true. But naturally, CNN chimed in to echo this falsehood – the only good thing being that, because no one watches that network, the lie didn’t spread very far:
CNN: The Biden administration, on its way out, tried to get to a deal. It did not. What do you think is the difference here in this moment that put the Trump team ahead?

“The framework that has been put into place… builds on the framework of the Biden administration,” said Sabrina Singh. Except, no….
If there was any previous foundation it would have been Trump 45 and the Abraham Accords. Biden escalated and encouraged Hamas. https://t.co/vLEYXdihAZ

The Biden administration consistently worked against Israel’s interests, pushing a “two-state solution” that would have all but guaranteed perpetual conflict in the region. At the same time, it funneled billions of dollars to Iran — money that ultimately ended up in the hands of terror groups like Hamas.
The New York Post’s Miranda Devine didn’t let the lie pass without one big fat fact check:
How pathetic, from this inept failure as Secretary of State, who only got the job because he sucked up to Joe Biden for years and did favors for his crackhead son.

Her entire post says:
This is the ineffectual toady who sat mute as Chinese officials yelled at him and disrespected America, who covered up his boss’s obvious cognitive decline, who simped with Europeans in the hope they would accept him as one of them, who presided over the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, who helped his boss make every conflict in the world worse, who installed his childhood friend from their Parisian school, Robert Malley, as “Iran special envoy” only to see the guy stripped of his security clearance, suspended, and investigated for “mishandling” classified information — a mystery which still has not been explained.
So, sure, try to take credit for what Trump achieved in eight months after your four years of humiliation on the world stage. No one buys it.
The release of the hostages today was phase one of the peace plan. More to come.
President Trump spoke to the press on board Air Force One about this attempt by the Biden administration to take credit for his work and he said, “Everyone knows that’s a joke. They did such a bad job. This was bad policy by Biden and Obama…Biden and Obama backed Iran.”
Trump added: “Everything they did was the opposite of what they should have done. That was years ago, the mistakes were made by Biden and Obama.”
