Here’s another chapter in the ongoing American tragedy, “The Worst President of the United States Ever.”
Joe Biden may have finally exited the political stage, but the stain of the “Biden Family Business” isn’t going anywhere. Thanks to the permanence of the internet — and a mountain of evidence that refuses to disappear — the world will be able to revisit the scandals, corruption, and foreign entanglements that defined his legacy for generations to come. Biden might be gone from Washington, but the mess he left behind is here to stay.
Newly declassified emails and records reveal that back in 2015, then–Vice President Joe Biden told the CIA he would “strongly prefer” that an intelligence report outlining Ukrainian officials’ concerns over his family’s ties to “corrupt” business dealings not be distributed — and, conveniently, it wasn’t.
So much for the Democrats’ favorite line about “no one being above the law.” When it comes to the Bidens, that principle always seems to take a back seat.
CIA Director John Ratcliffe declassified the heavily redacted records, describing them as a clear case of politicized intelligence. Fox News Digital obtained these documents, which emerged during a CIA review of the agency’s historical files.
CIA officials uncovered and declassified an email dated February 10, 2016, titled “RE: OVP query regarding draft [REDACTED],” which had been sent to the agency. The email specifically referred to Biden as Vice President and included a mention of the NSA (National Security Agency):
“Good morning, I just spoke with VP/ NSA and he would strongly prefer the report not/not be disseminated. Thanks for understanding,” the email states, signed by a redacted name, but with the title of “PDB Briefer.”
For the record, ‘PDB is the “Presidential Daily Brief.” It is an intelligence community product prepared by the various US intelligence agencies specifically for the president and yes, it’s provided daily (it’s a big, dangerous world out there).
Well, imagine that. Wouldn’t it be nice if we — the so-called “little people” — could just pick up the phone and tell the CIA, the FBI, or the IRS to make our problems disappear? To bury any inconvenient documents that might make us look bad?
Insert what I’ve always said about Biden’s party here: “The Democrat Party is the most hypocritical group of people on the planet.” More, via Fox News:
The report in question included intelligence revealing that Ukrainian officials viewed the Biden family’s alleged ties to corrupt business practices in Ukraine “as evidence of a double-standard within the United States Government towards matters of corruption and political power.”
The CIA, during its review, confirmed that Biden’s request was granted and that the intelligence report “had not been disseminated.”
The senior CIA official told Fox News Digital that it was “extremely rare and unusual” and “inappropriate to go outside of the intelligence community and inquire with the White House on the dissemination of a particular report for what appears to be political reasons.”
Of course it was “extremely rare and unusual.” That’s the go-to line every time the establishment gets caught red-handed. Then again, so was finding a bag of cocaine in the White House — but there you go.
Joe Biden, his son Hunter, his brother James, and who knows how many others were knee-deep in influence-peddling operations stretching from Ukraine to China and beyond. Yet, instead of investigating, the Democrats’ loyal media allies ran interference — burying stories, spinning scandals, and attacking anyone who dared to ask questions.
As vice president, Joe Biden was the Obama administration’s point man on Ukraine — running U.S. policy and managing the relationship directly. So is it really far-fetched to believe that Barack Obama knew about the intelligence report — and about Biden’s request to bury it? Of course not.
And let’s be honest: would it shock anyone if it turned out that Obama himself made the call to keep that information from the public? Not in the slightest.
Biden was truly our worst president, no doubt about it. But his presidency matched his level of integrity too.
