In response, the Trump White House is moving fast — ramping up security at ICE facilities nationwide and green-lighting troop deployment to Portland, Oregon, the leftist hotbed that’s seen months of violent showdowns between anti-ICE agitators and law enforcement at its detention center.
“I am directing Secretary of War, Pete Hegseth, to provide all necessary Troops to protect War ravaged Portland, and any of our ICE Facilities under siege from attack by Antifa, and other domestic terrorists,” Trump announced in a Truth Social post Saturday, noting he was authorizing them to use “full force” if necessary.
On Friday, the White House turned up the heat, blasting out an article titled “Democrats’ Unhinged Crusade Against ICE Fuels Bloodshed.” The piece didn’t pull punches, pointing out that years of Democrats demonizing and vilifying ICE have now produced violent, even deadly, consequences — for detainees and for the very agents tasked with protecting the border.
And let’s be clear: that’s not just reckless, it’s downright dangerous:
The carnage in Dallas, Texas — where a maniac with “ANTI-ICE” ammo gunned down an ICE field office in an attack clearly targeted at ICE personnel — lays bare the deadly consequences of Democrats’ unhinged crusade against our border enforcement.
Democrats have spent years vilifying ICE as “fascists,” “the Gestapo,” and “slave patrols,” inciting a 1,000% surge in assaults on agents and a wave of Radical Left terror. Their words aren’t just reckless — they’re a battle cry for violence.
The list called out 29 Democrats — from governors and senators to House members and mayors — all on record smearing ICE in the most reckless, dangerous terms imaginable. It’s not exhaustive, but it paints a damning picture of a party drunk on open-borders rhetoric.
And surprise, surprise — topping the list are three big-name Democrats already being floated as 2028 presidential hopefuls:
- Gov. Tim Walz smeared ICE as the “modern-day Gestapo.”
- Gov. Gavin Newsom likened ICE to “secret police,” calling them “authoritarian” and proclaiming a “right to push back.”
- Gov. JB Pritzker claimed the country is becoming “Nazi Germany” because ICE is “grabbing people off the street… and disappearing them.”
The mayors they spotlighted were Chicago’s Brandon Johnson, Boston’s Michelle Wu, and LA Mayor Karen Bass:
- Boston Mayor Michelle Wu compared ICE agents to the neo-Nazi group NSC-131.

- Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass spread a disgusting, fabricated hoax that ICE “kidnapped” a woman on her way to work.
Shocking, Newsom’s press office actually proclaimed that the Trump administration calling Democrats out over their disgusting, poisonous rhetoric is “reckless, dangerous” and “putting lives at risk” – and that it’s Trump who “must tone it down.”
Translation: “Sit down and be quiet, Mr. President — Republicans too — while Democrats keep pouring gasoline on the fire.”
