Newly released surveillance footage appears to show the man accused of assassinating Charlie Kirk walking toward Utah Valley University hours before the killing.
The video, obtained by TMZ, shows a man identified as Tyler Robinson wearing the same clothing officials said he had on when he arrived at the event where Kirk, 31, was fatally shot in the neck before a crowd of thousands.
Recorded at 8:07 a.m. Wednesday in a residential neighborhood near the campus, the clip shows a man in a maroon T-shirt, light shorts, sunglasses, a baseball cap, and sneakers. Authorities said the suspect arrived on campus around 8:30 a.m. that morning, driving a gray Dodge Challenger.

This is the first known footage showing the suspect before the shooting and before he changed clothes. The FBI had earlier released video appearing to show the gunman lying prone on a campus rooftop, then jumping off the building and fleeing into a nearby neighborhood.
Authorities believe the suspect changed clothes before the shooting, noting he was seen afterward in a black T-shirt with an American flag on it. A separate video obtained by TMZ appears to show the alleged gunman walking calmly through a nearby neighborhood after the attack.
In the clip, the man is dressed in dark clothing, moving quickly but without attracting attention. Law enforcement has not yet confirmed whether the individual shown in the TMZ video is the gunman.
