No ticket matched all six numbers in Wednesday’s $1.44 billion Powerball drawing, pushing the jackpot to an estimated $1.7 billion — nearing the record set in 2022.
The winning numbers were 3, 16, 29, 61, 69 and Powerball 22. While the grand prize went unclaimed, four Match 5 + Power Play tickets won $2 million each and 11 Match 5 tickets earned $1 million.
The next drawing is set for Saturday. The winner will have the option of a lump-sum payout of about $770.3 million before taxes, or an annuity with 29 annual payments that rise 5% each year.
No one has won the Powerball jackpot since May 31, allowing the prize to continue climbing. The record payout remains $2.04 billion, set in 2022.
